6. Sampling and Criteria for Conformity
- Unless otherwise agreed to between the manufacturer
and the supplier, the sampling and criteria for conformity with the standard stiall be as laid down in
IS : 2614-l 969 Methods for sampling of fasteners ( first revision ) .
7. Marking

Shall include the manufacturers name or trade-mark and lot or batch number.

7.1 IS1 Certification

EXPLANATORY

NOTE

In this revision the scope has been expanded to include, apart from the requirements of the
fuel injection equipment, the requirements of the other pipe connections also. Consequently the title
has been changed.
Also, for designation, the pipe outside diameter is taken as the nominal site.
While revising this standard, assistance has been derived from DIN 7643 Brazed and welded
pipe unions with spherical liners; hollow screws , issued by Deutscher Normenausschuss ( DNA ).
