Introduction
About Holy Cross College
Holy Cross College (formerly Holy Cross Academy) is now on its 60th year of
community service to the people of Sta.Rosa Nueva Ecija and nearby Barangay
neighboring towns. It was opened in 1946 asa secondary school with two first
year classes through the initiative of the late Rev. Msgr. Fernando C. Lansangan,
then parish priest of the said town.
Dr. Raquel Tioseco Sta. Ines, niece of the founder Priest took over the
management of the college after his death. In all its 66 years of existence, HCC
continues with additional TESDA programs in Restaurant Management,
Computer Secretarial, and Electronic and Computer Technology; and six-month
courses in Contact Call Center and Medical Transcription. HCC offers Masters in
Education major in Mathematics and English.
Education is held as a primary aspiration of the people. The reason could be
attributed partly to the fact that the level of the educational attainment of he
people has risen. On account of the many graduates produced by Holy Cross
Academy, many sons and daughters of the families of Sta.Rosa were able to
pursue degrees in colleges located in Cabanatuan City, Nueva Ecija, Manila
and other towns and cities of the country.
In its 59th year up to the present, HCC continues to give best service to the
community. Not only by being a community-based secondary school, it is also
an institution of higher learning where additional TESDA accredited highly-skilled
Restaurant Management, Computer Secretarial, and Electronic and Computer
Technology; and six-month courses in Contact Call Center and Medical
Transcription. Most importantly, HCC offers Master in Education major in
Mathematics, English, and aspiration for their educational upliftment as well as
for the country's national development goals.

Introduction
To this Study

2/6/2016

School education tends to provide society with uniform citizens.

Students wear school uniforms, use the same text books, and are
usually taught as a whole class by the same approach. However,
individuals are never the same. There is a wide range of learning
diversity in schools. In every classroom, it commonly occurs that
students learning progress is never at the same rate. The students
with disabilities or learning difficulties especially need extra help. It
would be very difficult for the teacher to give lessons to the whole
class when students do not progress at the same level. Again,
each individual has his/her own preferred learning style. It would
also be very difficult for the teacher to cater for every students
preference.
This study aims to find a solution on how to keep students
engaged in class discussion, to Determine the extent to which
individuals and groups at state, district, school, and classroom
levels possess the will and skill required to improve student
learning, and the extent to which their work settings allow and
encourage them to act on those capacities and motivations and
Identify the leadership and workplace characteristics of districts
and schools that encourage the values, capacities, and use of
practices that improve student learning.
