TO WHOM IT MAY CONCERN RE: OKODUWA NOSA JEFF A VICTIM OF CIRCUMSTANCE FRAMED IN FOR GRUESOME MURDER We act for and on behalf of MISS FAITH AKODI OKODUWA who shall hereinafter be referred to as our client on whose instruction we write this letter. Sequel to our brief sometime in June, 2015 and in the discharge of our professional obligations towards her, we solicited the conditional release of her brother, one MR. OKODUWA NOSA JEFF from Police custody where he was detained for four (4) days in connection with an alleged case of a missing girl (Osas) who incidentally was his girlfriend with whom she was last seen before her disappearance. By a stroke of unfortunate fate, the lifeless body of the missing girl (Osas) for which reason OKODUWA NOSA JEFF was initially detained was found in an uncompleted building in a gruesome murder deliberately carried out in a systematic design to frame him in to suffer the consequences of a murder charge that attracts capital punishment, death by hanging and endless years of incarceration in prison custody before trial. A copy of the photograph showing the victim is attached for ease of reference as annexure A. As part of investigation to unravel the murder case, some suspects were arrested by the police and MR. GODWIN OKODUWA (JEFFs father) was arrested when JEFF could not be found. But we swung into immediate action to enforce the fundamental right of
MR. GODWIN OKODUWA and secured his unconditional release
from custody sometime in June, 2015 and set aside the suretyship bond he executed on behalf of his son. The circumstances surrounding our brief and our investigative practice is a pointer indicting the probable innocence of OKODUWA NOSA JEFF of the allegation hung on him, and we are committed to ensuring that his innocence is secured in this matter. We are however aware from information made available to us that MR. OKODUWA NOSA JEFF is in your country in a disturbing circumstance, having sensationally fled the shores of Nigeria for safety from his vengeful captors who will stop at nothing to put a charge of murder on him and put him in custody for an unreasonably long period of incarceration before the law will run its course to vindicate the just and innocent. On our own part, we appeal in our professional capacity that you accord him an enduring social status while we continue to discharge our professional obligations towards him with a view to ensuring that we secure the ends of justice. Accept our assurance of an esteemed consideration. Please dont hesitate to request any information from the undersigned when your mission requires same. Thanks Yours faithfully,
