MINI PROJECT DETAILS

1. SUN TRACKING SOLAR SYSTEM

Using microcontroller (Atmega 328) controlled by stepper motor.

It is a low cost project.

2. LOW COST ELECTRONIC BLIND STICK (ON GOING PROJECT)

We made smart stick for visually challenged people at very low cost.
We used Atmega328 microcontroller for this Project.
All the hardware connections and software programs are solely done by our team
The total expenditure for project is Rs.1800.

3. FOUR 8X8 SCROLLING LED DISPLAY

This project is to make a scrolling notice board

Atmega 328 is used for this purpose
Includes LED matrix and Max7219 IC
Utilized in our department for notice board

DIPLOMA PROJECT DETAILS

ZIGBEE based WIRELESS DATA TRANSMISSION RS232

This project work aims on transmission of various parameters such as temperature to

remote distance and display the same on a LCD screen. This project can be applied in
various chemical and nuclear industries. In this work we used 8051 microcontroller as
main component

ENGINEERING PROJECT DETAILS

EYENET

Based on the need of our college, we have designed a low cost wireless HD
surveillance camera and implemented it successfully. We made use of Raspberry pi2
model ARM board and 1080 pixel HD camera for live streaming. We practiced a lot
on LINUX distribution Debian and achieved the output. Our project received
monetary support as well as appreciation from our college officials.

ACHIEVEMENTS

Receive CASH AWARD for securing FIRST PRIZE in Project Expo conducted by
Department of ECE, SSMIET.

WORKSHOPS ATTENDED

Participated in the workshop on VLSI DESIGN and its applications organised by

IETE Students Forum& department of ECE,SSMIET.

Participated in the workshop on Embedded System Applications Organised by

Department of ECE, SSMIET and Vi Microsystems Pvt. Ltd.Chennai.

Member of ISTE (Indian Society for Technical Education).

Participated in the Texas Instruments INDIA ANALOG MAKER Competition 2014

held at SSMIET. The contest was conducted by Texas Instruments India University
