Brenda has another year in high school, and we feel that it is imperative that we

not return to Africa until she has finished this year. Dr. Pruett has written to us, ask
ing Owen to stay on with the Central Africa Mission for this next year to help con
tinue this financial assistance. Since we are already in the States, and have first
hand knowledge of the work in Salisbury, it seems only good stewardship that Owen
should do this, thus saving someone else in the field from taking time off and the
expense of a trip home to do the same thing.
We went to Rhodesia to start churches. This has been done, and now comes the

task of building buildings to house and support these congregations until they can
support themselves. God's Word says, "Where there is no vision, the people perish."
We have the vision of a strong church in Salisbury and throughout Rhodesia, with a
locally trained ministry, and houses of worship in which to meet. You have helped us
so wonderfully in the past, will you share this same vision and help us now?

P.S. This, as we realize, is only a brief fragment of what the Dunlap family will be
doing, and is doing, and is trying to support. If you would like to know more about
the program in Salisbury, the capital city of Rhodesia, perhaps we could arrange a

Neu^ property of the Rfiodesian Bible College.

The children areall home now for a few weeks until westart our summer schedule.

Brenda has just finished her junior year at Oak Hills High School and enjoyed being
back in the American school system with which she was familiar. Charma really
enjoyed her freshman year at IVIilligan College. She made many friends and is already
looking forward to next year. David has had various jobs while attending his night
school courses in Communication Arts. Since he will be working and continuing in
summer school, he will not be able to travel with the rest of the family this summer.
The Lord willing, we plan to work in six Christian Service camps, speakon Sun^
days while in the various areas and attend the IMorth American Christian Convention.
These trips will take us to the East coast in North Carolina, then to Cedar Lake

Christian Assembly near Chicago, and on to Dallas, Texas, for the Convention. We
hope to see many of you then.

News from the churches in Salisbury include: (1) the merger of three African con
gregations. They will be meeting at the same school building in Highfield until they
are able to build a building in the new township, Glenorah, just adjacent toHighfield,
now under construction by the government. We have already spoken for a church site
but we must present a request containing at least one hundred signatures to begin
construction. These people will need financial help as in the city government build
ing standards are much higher, and the pay scale remains the same for the average
African.

(2) The Goromonzi High School group is growing every day and enthusiasm is very
high. Z indoga Bungu, the boy who helped us start the work, writes that they are num
bering around fifty to sixty every Sunday, and many are being baptized into Christ.
He mentions seven in the past week.
