Whats New
New Steel Fitter with Support for Catalogs
The popular steel fitter from Cyclone has been ported to CloudWorx. Users can fit steel to a point
cloud with the selection of two pick points. The fitter also supports standard steel catalogs,
returning the best match to standard steel parameters. The steel fitter works with both Cyclone
and JetStream data.

Find Flange Work Point

The CloudWorx Find Flange Work Point tool now works with JetStream data.

Fit Section
The CloudWorx Fit Section tool now works with JetStream data.

Support for TruSpace Background Images

The CloudWorx TruSpace viewer now supports displaying background panoramic imagery with
JetStream point cloud data. As before, TruSpace still supports background panoramic imagery
with Cyclone data.
In order to display background panoramic imagery in TruSpace with JetStream data, users are
required to have JetStream 1.2 or higher to be able to read/store the panoramic image data in
ProjectVault, and Cyclone 9.1.4 or higher is required to publish the panoramic image data to
JetStream.

New CLM 1.5

CloudWorx now includes and supports Leica Client License Manager (CLM) 1.5, which offers
greater stability.

Bug fixes
Fixed a bug where JetStream data did not render in multiple viewports when
subsequent drawings were opened

Leica CloudWorx 6.1 for AutoCAD Compatibility and Upgrades

Windows 10 Support
CloudWorx now supports the Windows 10 operating system.

Upgrading to Leica CloudWorx 6.1 from Leica CloudWorx 6.0.3

You must have Administrator-level privileges on your workstation to correctly install Leica
CloudWorx software.

If using IMP data, first run the current Cyclone installer if you do not have a version of Cyclone
installed. Otherwise/Next run the CloudWorx 6.1 InstallShield and follow the directions in the
InstallShield Wizard to proceed with the installation. Please heed the warning message about
compatibility of earlier version databases.
All users with a valid license(s) for CloudWorx 6.1.x or later can run this new version with no new
license required. All users with a currently valid CCP or with CCP which was valid as late as April
18, 2016 can receive a new license to run this version.

Compatibility with Leica CloudWorx 6.1 AND Earlier Versions

Cyclone 7.2 databases are NOT backward compatible. Therefore older databases must be
updated before using Cyclone 7.2 and can no longer be used with earlier versions. If you need to
work with your data in older versions of Cyclone or CloudWorx, you should make an archive
copy of your database(s) prior to upgrading. Since it can take some time to update and optimize
Cyclone databases, we recommend that you optimize your databases overnight, particularly
when multiple databases are involved.

Compatibility with Leica CloudWorx 6.1 AND AutoCAD Versions

CloudWorx 6.1 officially supports Autodesk AutoCAD versions 2010-2016.

Known Issues
Optimizing Older Databases with Windows 7 and Higher
If users wish to use CloudWorx 6.1 for AutoCAD to optimize IMP databases from Cyclone
version 7.0 or higher, they must first disable User Access Control prior to optimizing, or the
optimization will not succeed yet no meaningful error message will be produced.
