INSTRUCTIONS MANUAL
Thank you for your choice ! To get the best of your equipment, please
read carefully following recommendations.
I / PRODUCT CONCEPT
Your GYSPACK 12 24 V includes :
9 a trolley,
9 a portable booster with 2 batteries of high technology able to
deliver high current,
9 a set of starting cables,
9 a double charger, regulated IUoU.
Your GYSPACK 12 24 V allows following uses :
9 Starting 12 V vehicle,
9 Starting 24 V vehicle,
9 Power supply DC 12 V 10 A,
9 Power supply DC 24 V 10 A.
II / BASIC ADVISE
You must recharge your booster immediately after use because it
damages its batteries to be left empty.
Your GYSPACK 12-24 V, when not in use, must be always
connected to its specific charger.
III / CHARGING PROCESS

VI / LOW VOLTAGE POWER SUPPLY

You must connect the specific plug from the charger to the booster.

You can get 10 A under 12 V or 24 V. Use plug ref. 51125 supplied


with your booster.

Your battery charger has two leds for each battery :


9 The yellow led is on until the charge reaches 80 %, and then it
flashes until 99 %.
9 The green led turns on when the charge is 100 % and then it
maintains the battery full indefinitely with no risk.
Earth (pin 3)

Each battery is separately regulated.

+12V (pin 2)
+24V (pin 1)

IV / BOOSTER RED LIGHT


Your portable booster is equipped with a red led. When it is on, its means
that at least one of the two batteries has got its voltage below 12,5 V. So, it
means that the booster has been in use once since its last charging time. You
must reconnect it to the charger.
The red light on does not mean that you can not use your booster. But you
must not do deep discharge which can damage your batteries.
Once you connect the charger, the red light will be off immediately . It
does not mean your booster is full. You have to proceed according to
paragraph III.
V / STARTING OF A VEHICLE
Power switch on OFF.
Connect cable on 12 V or 24 V output. Connect red clamp to +, and black
to -. If reversed polarity, a buzzer will advise you.
Power switch on ON.
Start vehicle. Booster red light flashes. Power switch on OFF.
Disconnect the battery cables.
Connect your charger. Booster red light switches off.

VII / ADVISES AND WARNINGS


Never short circuit clamps with power switch ON. Danger of
heavy electrical chock.
Store your Booster in a tempered area.
Always, keep the charger on when idle.
Wait 20 seconds between two starts of maximum 6 seconds.
Batteries are not covered by guarantee.
Use a mains plug with earth otherwise your charger can create
serious electrical chock.
VIII / POSSIBLE BREAKDOWN
if the Booster batteries are below 5 V, the charger and the red light
will not be in operation. You will have to change the batteries.
