Its tine to move on..the vans packed, the dogs in the back and the kids are in.

yes!! You are on your way..Moving to Chelmsford? Voted one of the best places to
live in the UK, the place One of the key things youre likely to look for when moving to a
new city or location is well..ummm.its not just one thing is it? Its a number of
factors that a makes a place a great choice to move to with your family. Choice of
schools is high on the list, as is history and culture. Practical factors like time to
commute to work and quality of commute, crime rate, all add up when making the
decision. After all, youre moving the family its not a decision to be made lightly.

Chelmsford scores high on many of these counts. Its just 51 kms from London, Charing
Cross and offers a great alternative for repose to many who have to travel on business
to the capital but dont want to become a long suffering victim to the capitals real estate
problems. Of course, Londons problems are many. Housing shortage and ..Oh yes!
Prices sky rocketing prices! (Last year alone saw many parts of the capitals real
estate prices rise by as much as a whopping 22%)

Yes, Chelmsford is now a city. It became one and was given the status 1n 2012.
Chelmsford's population in fact consists of a large number of city and docklands
commuters who work in the financial district, attracted by the 3035 minute journey from
Central London via the Great Eastern Main Line. The same journey takes approximately
60 minutes by road via the A12. The city currently has a population of approximately
169,500 and this is rapidly increasing every year with many people from Essex and the
London borders re-locating to the city. Chelmsford is equidistant from Colchester as it is
from London.
Good Schools and more
Chelmsford is home to several good schools and this of course is one of the factors
going for its popularity amongst families who have school going youngsters. Newlands

Ofsted ratings. Among the well ranked secondaries - The Boswells, Chelmsford County
High for Girls and the King Edward VI Grammar school all range between good and
outstanding ratings given by Ofsted. New Hall School, founded in 1642, is a private,
Catholic boarding school which caters to pupils from the age of 3 right through to sixth

Estate Agents
Britain they say is a country of home owners. Yes, we like to buy our own little home
and a plot of land behind which, in Britain we call with pride our garden. In North
America this is often known as the backyard. Of course, one of the keys to your house
search is your choice of estate agents. These knowledgeable ladies and gents are well
linked into the market and are privy to valuable information about which properties are
on the market. Not just that, many can give you valuable advice on schools, services,
medical facilities, supermarkets and can help you narrow down the general location
which works best for you and your family. So lets have a quick look at the pecking order

Scott Mason, Joanne Williams and Merrick Allen are the three directors that form this exciting partnership in estate
agency and financial services with over fifty years' experience between them in Brentwood and Chelmsford.

We chose to start our own independent estate agency offering independent mortgage advice, having become
frustrated with the impersonal approach and target driven attitude of a corporate estate agency.

Our aim, as our name suggests is to establish long term partnerships with our clients, dealing with them time after
time to help avoid the stress that buying, renting, selling or letting a home can bring.

Our service goes beyond the traditional estate agent and our commitment to the training and development of our staff
means that our whole team is here to support you throughout your move.

Great communication from your estate agent is critical if you are to enjoy your move. Our policy is to employ good
communicators who are fully committed to customer care and on your side throughout the entire moving process.

A little bit about me... I have wealth of experience and knowledge in both estate agency and financial services,
being a qualified Financial Adviser I am able to assist in all aspects of situations that we encounter within this
complex industry. I live in Chelmsford and have extensive knowledge of the local area.

Why do I like working here? Well, every day is different for sure. You never know what the day is going to bring, in
my job it could be anything from working on a marketing strategy or a PR exercise to working with the press and
looking into new ways to take the business forward. Alternatively my other very important role is to be the one who
gets in the tea and biscuits which is another integral part of the working day. Ultimately I love my job and everything it
means. We are an ethical company and take pleasure in getting people moved as smoothly as possible.

A little bit about me... I started my career within Black Horse Agencies in Chelmsford where I met Scott and Joanne

Partnership. I live in South Woodham Ferrers with my wife and two daughters and when not at work I enjoy tinkering
with my classic 1961 Land Rover.

Why do I like working here? We are very good at what we do, which is why we get people moved. Everyone in the
team delivers a high service and supports each other, there is no 'weak link'. We have become more than just
colleagues and this relationship makes it an enjoyable environment to be in. When you enjoy coming to work this

efficient, honest and fun would be the top five words I would use to describe our team and therefore our business. Put
us to the test and see what you think.

Scott D Mason MNAEA

A little bit about me... I feel that I have strong property knowledge of Chelmsford having been raised in Great
Baddow. I started my career as a YTS apprentice in 1995 for Black Horse Agencies. In my spare time I am a keen
Leyton Orient supporter and recent England Fans member and try to get to as many games as possible, I also enjoy
mountain biking and getting away in my VW camper van.

Why do I like working here? Because we have created a type of Estate Agency that every agent claims to be,
friendly, professional, award winning, the list goes on. However, we are different and would welcome opportunity of
proving it's what we do that moves people!
