What can God do with a few hundred sno-cones

and thousands of doorknockers? Well, the obvious answer is, Anything He wants to. But what
can God do if we take those same sno-cones and
doorknockers and put them into the hands of
men, women, youth, and children who are willing
to sacrifice hours at a time to tell men, women,
youth, and children about Jesus, about Southside,
and about Vacation Bible School? I believe the
answer to that question is still to be seen, but I
think the only correct answer is, exceedingly,
abundantly more than all we ask or imagine (Ep.
3:20). The message has gone out, and there are
still a few days until Vacation Bible School begins, but I am looking for an outpouring of Gods
blessing as He responds to the faithfulness of His
people to give themselves to the task of reaching
boys and girls with the gospel of Jesus Christ. So
would you join in this task with us? Would you
continue to spread the word that our Vacation
Bible School is happening June 6-10 from 9 a.m.
until noon? Will you commit to pray every day
from now until June 10th that God will send the
children, guide the teachers and workers, and
bring salvation to those who hear the gospel with
more than physical ears? Will you come to VBS
every day and help us teach, lead, corral, and
whatever else needs to be done so that God can
work in the lives of these boys and girls? We
need you, and God wants to use you, so
what do you say? Alright then. I will see
you at Vacation Bible School.
And remember this: your pastor loves you!

School is out, summer has begun and you

know what that means! It's almost time for
VBS! If you haven't already volunteered it's
not too late! Show up on Monday and we will
put you to work! If you can't be here you can
still help by praying. Pray for our workers and
for all the children that will come through our
doors during VBS. Pray that we will show
them God's love every moment they are in our care. Pray that we
might reach not only these children, but their families. And pray
that lives may be changed forever as a result of VBS.
As soon as VBS is over, Monday Mornings at Southside begins!
Our neighborhood children absolutely LOVE this program and
can't wait for it to begin again!
We have a jam packed summer planned with a new Sunday evening curriculum, Super Science and Scripture on Wednesday evenings and of course CentriKid! Thank
you so much to those of you who
have so generously donated to make
camp possible for these kids. It
means more to them, and to me,
than you know. I feel truly
blessed to be a part of such a
loving and caring church family.
