with a clean cloth or paper towel. Toss the pumpkin seeds with the vegetable
oil and spread evenly onto a cookie sheet. Sprinkle with salt and bake in a
400 degree oven for between 10 and 15 minutes, checking frequently.
If you like spicy seeds, add a dash of cayenne pepper after you sprinkle the
salt.
Remove seeds from the oven when they are a golden brown color. Let them
cool and then enjoy your snack.
See, roasting pumpkin seeds was fun, wasn't it?

Red Ribbon Week

Justina will celebrate red ribbon week Oct 19-23rd. Red Ribbon Week serves as a vehicle for communities and
individuals to take a stand for the hopes and dreams of our children through a commitment to drug prevention and
education and a personal commitment to live drug free lives with the ultimate goal being the creation of a drug free
America. Help us celebrate by participating in our Red Ribbon Week activities.
Red Ribbon Week Activities

✓ Tuesday: We’re way to cool to do drugs. Shade out….drugs. Wear sunglasses.
✓ Wednesday: Sock it to drugs… wear mismatched crazy socks!

Volunteers needed! Help turn justina red for red ribbon week. Parents are asked to help decorate the front hallway and
cafeteria.
