A bunch of well armed idiots for

you Mutants and Machineguns

campaign

Intro
How to use this thing
This is a suplement for the game Mutants and Machineguns Version 3 by Experimental Playground. It
can be downloaded for free at experimentalplayground.blogspot.com.
Its not really a module neither a bestiary, its just a description of a group of bad guys for your M&M
games. A kind of recurring enemy. You might center a campaign around them or use it as a background
element.
Its recommended for a slightly more technologically advanced world than the usual Mad Max style
wasteland. A world with a kind of second industrial revolution with fairly functional cities and good
access to mechanical stuff. Characters should have a decent repower to be able to survive these guys.
If you are gonna use them as the main villain for your campaign you should think how advanced they are
on their domination plans.
They could be starting to attack settlements and convoys on small scale battles involving the PCs
somehow.
They could be waging a real war against cities with the PC acting as soldiers or maybe commanding
their own forces.
Lastly an area could be already conquered and the characters act as the resistance.

About porkers
Porkers are one of the most common enemy one can nd when going out of civilization. They are
savage humanoid pigs that create bands of about 12 individuals and raid convoys for food and
technology.
The usual height is around 1m but their body can grow misteriously bigger when they climb the ranks of
the tribe. Tribe leaders are usually more than 2m tall and their body is much more bulky. They can even
develop husks similarly to boars.
They are violent and stupid, they have conservation instinct but and are very bad at calculating their
chances for survival.
In great numbers they will scream, squeal and laugh while they attack, but when they are in clear
disadvantage most of them will run away like cowards.
They are very good with repurposing and repairing technology though, they will rebuild and reuse any
vehicle or weapon they get their hands on.
And they love it, there is no creature happier than a porker emptying a machinegun magazine while
going around with his friends in their new war car.

Porca Mamma Revolutionary Army

But something strange its happening lately.
Convoys are being attacked by a new band of porkers.
They have much greater numbers and much better tactics than usual.
Its starting to look like a real army, and its a matter of time before they start attacking settlements.
They call themselves Porca Mamma Revolutionary Army.
Rumor says they are guided by that Porca Mamma and that they consider her some kind of prophet.

Army structure
The Army is organized in Raids, wich then have units specialised in different tasks
Each unit is commanded by an Ofcer.
There is no radio in this setting. Units use messengers, ags and ares to communicate and
coordinate. If the characters have the chance to spy a command unit during an operation they
can learn the system. Might be useful.
There can be as many Raids as the GM wants.

Example raid
This is the hierarchy of a raid. The raid leader will be posted within a unit depending on his
preferences. Some like to be in a tank, others prefer to be with his occupation troops.

Soldiers
For the shake of simplicity and helping the players survive all the weapons are considered to re in
Single mode. If you want to be particulary cruel, refer to the weapon lists and use the other modes.
Ability is the..... ability for doing not combat related stuff. Consider anything logic a porker could do,
repairing, sneaking, driving, survival.... but is very hard to nd a porker who has knowledge of XIX
century poetry.

If players return re they will
try to run and hide.

Vehicles
These vehicles are supposed to be very advanced compared to the rest of the vehicles avaliable in the world. Thats what
makes Porca Mamma such a scary rival.
With such advanced tech is very probable characters will want to steal them. There is a problem: all these vehicles are small,
they are made for creatures that are usually between 1m and 15m tall.
Any rolls done in those circumstances get a -1 as the characters have to t on small seats with their knees in their faces
(unless they are porkers or some other small race). Every vehicle can be adapted to regular human size for 10% of the vehicle
cost by any decent mechanic.
Players will get in trouble with other factions if they drive around in a porker vehicle without anything to tell them apart.

Porca Mamma recieved that name recently. As any other porker she had no name.
Its worth talking about the female role in porker society, its pretty simple.
They are exactly the same as males for a non porker. Your characters probably killed
as many females as males at this point. The only real difference is they dont grow in mass
neither develop husks when they grow due to being bosses.
With an exception. She was born near a the very irradiated ruins of a town. She was born
with husks. At rst that was taken as a bad sign and she had a very rough childhood, even
for porker standars.
But with time she developed mind powers. In particular she discovered she could mind control
other people with ease. Its like every other porker that stayed with her started to consider her
some kind of sacred gure.
Using this power she started controlling his tribe and slowly started unifying the rest in his region.
Most porkers consider her some kind of savior and obey her without hesitation. The few that resisted
were either eliminated or mind controlled.
Her nal objective is to create a big porker nation and enslave all the other races (or mutants, or
robots...) After that, she will rule the region with iron st and will try to expand her control to others.
She usually moves around in a buggy modied to have her sit in a throne.
In case of need she will grab her weapons and ght. Her rough childhood made her be very brave
in ghts.

Tips and optional rules

All of these are suggestions. Feel free to ignore them
About combat
To not having to keep track of too many enemies at the same time limit the oposition to the same number
of enemies as players, maybe a minimum of 4 to keep it tense.
If there should be more enemies just make them come in the combat as the current ones fall or wait until
its nished and then start a new one. Dont abuse it, leave players some time to do what they are trying
to do.
Use different combinations of enemies so they have to adapt and dont tell them exactly what each enemy
does, let them discover it.
Use dice to keep track of everyones HP since both Pcs and porkers will be taking lots of damage all the
time.
Talking about that. Be generous with chances for your Pcs to heal, giving them lots of healing items or
chances of taking a minute to rest and heal 1d6. Think of it like how the standard videogame works.
Acting like a porker
Add a grunt at the end of each sentence or when doing tiring activities.
Talk fast, loud and nervous and laugh like crazy if things are going good.
Remember to include reference like what mom ordered or mom will be angry about this.
Porker Pcs
If any of the players wants to be a porker make him do an evolved animal except they dont have Natural
weapon and dont roll on the mutation table. Instead they get 1d6+12 and the Adrenaline jolt mutation.
Yes, they will be much better than a regular porker. They are heroes.
He could be the defeated leader of a tribe who didnt want to join the Army or a soldier captured by the Pcs
who promised to help them. Or maybe he doesnt know anything about whats happening.

Inspirations
-Mad Max Fury Road (obviously)
-The part of Dragon Ball about the Red Ribbon Army
-Daydream artbook by Hayao Miyazaki.
-Porco Rosso. Porkers should act like the sky pirates.
-2000AD comics: In particular Rogue Trooper and anything in Judge Dredd about the wasteland.
-Gunnm (Battle Angel Alita)
-Metal Slug. Thats the expected level of action.

Special thanks
Special thanks.
Experimental Playground for the amazing game.
The guys in the Hangouts.
My playtesters, even if they were more interested in raiding old cities than ghting the porkers.
Any question? Want to tell me how my english sucks or how unbalanced the enemies are?
Send a message to ivanmercenario@outlook.es and we can talk.
