FINDINGS

The majority of the respondents are male with 59.2%.


The majority of the respondents were in the age group of below 25 years with
52.5%.
The study explains that 47.5% of the respondents are married and 52.5% of
the respondents are unmarried.
The majority of the respondents possess P.G. degree with respect to their
educational qualification with 48.3%.
The majority of the respondents are the private employees with 52.5%
The majority of the respondents earns above Rs.20, 000-Rs.50, 000 with
42.5%.
The majority of the respondents with 59.2% have below 5 years of experience.
The majority of the respondents are attended the stock market for a period of
less than one year with 51.7%
The majority of the respondents are attended any course of stock market with
70.8%
Cronbachs Alpha reliability was conducted for factors influencing individual
investors behavior and value being 0.703 for 23 items which is consistent and
reliable.
The Variables have communalities ranging from 0.575 to 0.795. So, those
variables are fit for factorization.
The value of Kaiser-Mayer Olkin Measure of Sampling Adequacy is
0.595(59.5%) which is adequate.
In Principal Component Analysis it was found that 23 variables are reduce to 9
factors with individual variances of 11.789, 10.107, 7.530, 6.954, 6.918,
6.339, 6.280, 5.975, 5.873 respectively.
The nine factors have been extracted out of 23 variables together explaining
67.76A% of variance.

SUGGESTIONS
After analyzing the various factors influencing the individual investor
behavior the following suggestions are made for better understanding of the investor
behavior.
The investor has to avoiding selling shares that value of share decreased and
ready to sell their shares that value of share increased
Intermediate should give analysis about the latest stock market trends and
have to take a close look at the various investment options, and products
available in the market to their clients.
The investors leads to more buy a local stocks than the international stocks
because more information`s available for a local stocks

To increase their stock marketability, they need to review the relationship


between the price and demand on their stocks frequently.
Try to ignore the connection between the different investment possibilities

CONCLUSION:
The study entitled Factors Influencing the Individual Investor
Behavior would help the share brokerage firms to take care of the factors influencing their
investors and can give proper asset allocation strategy to their investors. The listed companies
can also look at the most influencing factors and can focus much on these factors to attract
the investors to invest in them.
The study was conducted for a period of 3 months. The study
aimed at identifying the most and the least influencing factors of the individual investors.
Convenience sampling method was used in the study and a sample size of 120 investors was
taken for the study. The primary data was collected through structured questionnaire.

The data collected through questionnaire has been analyzed using


mean value and standard deviations. Pie charts and bar diagrams were used in the study.
Suggestion`s were also made for further understanding of the investment behavior
