Hi, my name is Callie and Im 7 years old. I was
brought to SCAC when my owner had to move and
wasnt able to take me. Im a friendly gal but I can be
timid at first, so I prefer for people to go slow with
me. I dont know how I feel about dogs, I can coexist
with other cats but I dont really like them. As for
kids I could live with older respectful children. Im not a big fan of
being picked up but Id love to curl up next to you on the couch! If
youd like to give me a chance then please come meet me today!
Hi there, Im Kenway and Im around 10 years old. I was brought
into SCAC as a stray, the people that found me
noticed I had a tooth sticking out of my mouth and
I was in a great deal of pain, so I had to have quite
a few teeth removed. Although I dont have many
teeth left it doesnt slow me down when it comes to
food, I have a very sweet and soft meow as well
and I will let you know when Im hungry. I am a
sweet boy that just loves attention and I get along
great with everyone here. If youd like to see more
of my handsome face then take me home!
Hi my name is Stitch! I am a 1 year old American Shelter Dog. I am
friendly, energetic, and happy. I was brought to SCAC
because I wasnt getting enough exposure at a
previous shelter. I am very high energy and love to
play ball for hours. I would make a great hiking and
running companion. I would be best fit for an active
home that has experience with large, playful dogs. I
can possibly go to a home with older children and
other dogs. If I sound like I could be your next family member, please
come meet me at SCAC!

less meat. If 1.3 billion Chinese people folP-518.-692-2676
low the guidelines and eat just 200 grams of
meat and eggs a day instead of increasing
their meat consumption as expected it
would prevent a lot of greenhouse gas from entering the atmosphere.
Maybe. But meat consumption is not the climate change boogeyman that activists claim. At least
thats what air quality specialist and UC Davis animal science professor Frank Mitloehner says.
Both globally and in the U.S., energy production and use, as well as the transportation sectors,
are the largest anthropogenic contributors of greenhouse gasses (GHG), which are believed to
drive climate change.
Whether flatulence causes climate change or not, if the Chinese eat less meat, the price of beef
suffers. Grain suppliers will need to find other markets for their grains, with prices likely to fall.
So, push on, McDonalds.

on and start designing your float, because that is
what makes up a parade along with a lot of music

UNCLE WALLY WONDERS

Some fans of Uncle Wally responded with these comments:
It occurred to me that you are uneducated.
That you get your news by listening...
Rather than doing your own research on line.
Or reading stats.
That you are a bigot.
That you havent a clue about Europe or Canada.
That you mimic what you hear.
That you are unoriginal, and a foolish follower
Of other bigots.
Why not try using your brain once in a while
And write something original
from your head
instead.
(This was unsigned, but probably from a frustrated poet writing
what passes for poetry today.)

Another:
Apparently Uncle Wally never experienced
descrimination..and loves the N word. In your latest article
you needed some as____e to infer that Obama was a Muslim, rather than think that Obama might be protecting a minority group.
You also forget that George Bush and friends created a war
that was suppose to cost fifty billion dollars, but ended up
costing 2-4 trillion dollars and the loss and wounding of thousands of Americans. For what? To create ISIS. (Actually, Uncle
Wally asks the same question, but Obama exacerbated the situation
by pulling out too soon)

Obama has done nothing like that. NOTHING!!!!!

But you are too stupid to realize that.
FYI In Hitlers times Germany was 99% Christian.
It seems that Christians love to hate people...other than themselves.
My heart goes out to you with a big F--- You Ignorant A----e. Theres simply no other way to put.
(Again, unsigned, but certainly heartfelt, if not very accurate.)
