Instructions

Unpack and Verify

Unpack all of the separate pieces and verify everything is included.
You Should Have Below Items:
Tablet
Cords For Tablet (in Tablet Box):

Attaching the Tablet to the Stand
1. Remove red tape backing from tablet stand

2. Remove protective plastic cover from back of tablet

3. Place tablet onto stand ( be sure to center the tablet on the stand)

Attaching the Stand to Where You Want it
1. Determine where you want the tablet stand (with tablet on it).
Be sure to know exactly where you want the tablet before removing tape.
Tape is EXTREMELY strong once the Tablet is adhered to surface removing it will be very difficult.
2. Remove red tape backing from tape on the bottom of tablet stand.
3. Adhere tape on the bottom of stand to desired location of stand.

Turning on Your Tablet

1. Press the power button, on the tablet, down for 3-5 seconds to turn on the device.

System Setup and Login

Setting Up the Point 1.

1. Click on the POSimplicity icon on the main screen.

2. When the app first opens you need to change the keyboard entry method.
Steps 3-7 will walk you through the process (these steps may need to enter internet password in).
3. Touch the bottom right hand corner of the screen to reveal the notification bar.

4. Touch the Choose Input Method button from the notification bar.
5. Switch the Hardware Physical Keyboard to the off switch by touching the On/Off Toggle.

6. Switch the Hardware Physical Keyboard to the off switch by touching the On/Off Toggle. (You will
need to repeat this process if you power off your tablet.

7. Tap anywhere outside of the dark grey pop out to close this window and save
your knew keyboard settings.
8. After the pop up is closed the keyboard will pop up and you will be able to type in
the Magento Base URL. After the Base URL is Entered Click the OK button to Continue.

6. A merchant login screen will appear, enter in your merchant log in and password then click the
done button on the keyboard. (To move from ID to password, press the next button on the keyboard)

7. After you complete the merchant log in there is a clerk log in.
Follow the same steps as above to enter in the clerk ID and password.

(Be sure you are logged into the POSimplicity app before continuing)
1. Once on the main POSimplicity screen click on the circular button above the
square buttons on the bottom of the screen.

2. Click on the button labeled Maint. to get to the maintenance screen.

3. When maintenance screen pop-up appears click on the Print Receipt Settings.

4. When receipt printer options open enter in the text you would like to be printed on the top
of the receipt. Move from line to line by hitting next button on the keyboard.

5. After the text has been entered you will need to choose the amount you want for the
left Margin. Do this by clicking on the left margin box.
(You do need a fairly large margin to center the text on the receipt. See below for example)

6. To see how the receipt will look click the Test Print button under the text boxes.
7. After the receipt prints decide if you are happy with the layout. If you are happy click the save
button. If not continue to adjust and print test receipts until you are happy with the outcome.
