OVERVIEW
As the Blues Capital of the World, Chicago produces the largest, free outdoor blues
music festival in the world featuring a month of programming throughout the city. The
event draws an international audience and continues to be a hometown favorite.
Title Sponsorship opportunities of side stages are available. These high traffic areas
feature daytime entertainment and offer a great opportunity to maximize on-site brand
visibility.
Several preview events at various locations offer sponsors additional exposure.

EVENT HIGHLIGHTS

The 2016 lineup features a whos who of

headliners including Shemekia Copeland, Lil


Ed and the Blues Imperials, Corky Siegel,
Tommy Castro & the Painkillers, Fred Wesley
& the New J.B.s, Irma Thomas, Eddy The
Chief Clearwater and Ronnie Earl & the
Broadcasters.

Closing night will feature a tribute to legendary


blues guitarist Otis Rush

May is Blues month and features community-

based programming in venues throughout


Chicago neighborhoods including: Maxwell Street
Market, Chicago Cultural Center, Daley Plaza and
several Blues Clubs.

The event is held in Grant Park and features a


main stage and 5 side stages.
