Praxis Strategy Group Hires Rachel A.

Wells as Intern
Rachel will work on Red River Valley Research Corridor initiatives related to su
mmit event planning, new job creation, and activities to spur innovation and com
mercialization of new technologies. She will also do exploratory research on the
emerging New Localism, an initiative of Praxis Strategy Group and Joel Kotkin t
o understand future development initiatives that will occur at an increasingly l
ocal and regional level.
Fargo, ND, May 19, 2010 -- Praxis Strategy Group has hired Rachel A. Wells as a
summer intern to work with the company. Rachel will work on Red River Valley Res
earch Corridor initiatives related to summit event planning, new job creation, a
nd activities to spur innovation and commercialization of new technologies. She
will also do exploratory research on the emerging New Localism, an initiative of
Praxis Strategy Group and Joel Kotkin to understand future development initiati
ves that will occur at an increasingly local and regional level. Rachel is the d
aughter of Dr. David and Sarah Wells of Fargo, ND and is attending North Dakota
State University majoring in History with a minor in Economics.
This internship has been funded in part by the Operation Intern program, adminis
tered from the North Dakota Department of Commerce. The program provides matchin
g funds to businesses for starting internship programs and apprenticeships for N
orth Dakota college students and high school juniors and seniors pursuing trades
and technology careers. Industries targeted for the program are energy, advance
d manufacturing, value-added agriculture, tourism and technology.
