1. SSLC/SSC or equivalent and Pre-degree/Plus 2 or equivalent.

2. Under-graduate and Post-graduate degree certificate along with marksheets of all semesters.
3. GATE/UGC/CSIR NET JRF/NET Lectureship Score card.
4. Caste certificate issued by the Competent Authority, if applicable.
5. OBC-Non Creamy Layer certificate issued by the Competent Authority, if applicable.
6. Conduct certificate obtained from the Institution last studied.
7. Bank Challan Copy.
General Instructions

1.A subject oriented written test and interview or interview alone will be conducted depending on the number of
candidates who turn up. You are advised to attend the written test/interview as the case may be on the date
mentioned above.
2. Candidates shortlisted under both General and OBC/SC/ST/PWD categories need to attend the written test/
interview on the date identified for general category only.
3. No TA/DA is admissible for written test/interview. You are advised to make your own arrangements for your
stay at Thiruvananthapuram at your own expenses.
4. Candidates without original certificates will not be allowed to attend the written test/interview under any
circumstances.
5. You are called for the written test/interview based on the information furnished by you through online
application. In case you fail to substantiate any of the claims made in the online application such as qualification,
marks obtained (rounding of marks not allowed), date of birth, caste, experience etc. and if any variations are
noted, you will not be allowed to attend the written test/interview and your candidature will be summarily
rejected.
6. It may be noted that failure to attend the written test/interview will automatically lead to rejection of your
application for IIST M.Tech/M.S Admissions 2016-2017. No requests for change in the date and venue of written
test/interview will be entertained.
7. It may also be noted that the written test/interview is being used only to determine the suitability of the
candidate for a particular programme and to decide whether a candidate is to be considered further in the
admission process or not.
