This instruction manual should be kept in a safe

place for future reference. If the washing machine is
sold, transferred or moved, make sure that the
instruction manual remains with the machine so that
the new owner is able to familiarise himself/herself
with its operation and features.
Levelling the machine correctly will provide it with

stability, help to avoid vibrations and excessive noise
and prevent it from shifting while it is operating. If it is
placed on carpet or a rug, adjust the feet in such a
way as to allow a sufficient ventilation space
underneath the washing machine.
Read these instructions carefully: they contain vital

information relating to the safe installation and
operation of the appliance.

1. Remove the washing machine from its packaging.

2. Make sure that the washing machine has not been
damaged during the transportation process. If it has
been damaged, contact the retailer and do not
proceed any further with the installation process.

spacer, located on the
rear part of the appliance
(see figure).
4. Close off the holes using the plastic plugs provided.

5. Keep all the parts in a safe place: you will need
them again if the washing machine needs to be
moved to another location.
Packaging materials should not be used as toys for

children.
Levelling
1. Install the washing machine on a flat sturdy floor,

without resting it up against walls, furniture cabinets
or anything else.
2. If the floor is not
perfectly level, compensate for any unevenness
by tightening or loosening
the adjustable front feet
(see figure); the angle of
inclination, measured in
relation to the worktop,
must not exceed 2.

3. Make sure that the hose is not folded over or bent.
The water pressure at the tap must fall within the

values indicated in the Technical details table (see
next page).
If the inlet hose is not long enough, contact a
specialised shop or an authorised technician.
Never use second-hand hoses.
Use the ones supplied with the machine.
Do not use extension cords or multiple sockets.

We advise against the use of hose extensions; if it is

absolutely necessary, the extension must have the
same diameter as the original hose and must not
exceed 150 cm in length.
Electrical connections
Before plugging the appliance into the electricity

socket, make sure that:
the socket is earthed and complies with all
applicable laws;
the socket is able to withstand the maximum power
load of the appliance as indicated in the Technical
data table (see opposite);
the power supply voltage falls within the values
indicated in the Technical data table (see opposite);
the socket is compatible with the plug of the
washing machine. If this is not the case, replace
the socket or the plug.
The washing machine must not be installed

outdoors, even in covered areas. It is extremely
dangerous to leave the appliance exposed to rain,
storms and other weather conditions.
When the washing machine has been installed, the
electricity socket must be within easy reach.
Once the appliance has been installed, and before

you use it for the first time, run a wash cycle with
detergent and no laundry, using the wash cycle 2.

Standby mode
This washing machine, in compliance with new
energy saving regulations, is fitted with an automatic
standby system which is enabled after a few minutes
if no activity is detected. Press the ON-OFF button
briefly and wait for the machine to start up again

to the selected option will remain lit.
SPIN button : press to reduce or completely
exclude the spin cycle - the value is indicated on the
display.
TEMPERATURE button : press to decrease or

The display is useful when programming the machine and provides a great deal of information.
The duration of the available programmes and the remaining time of a running cycle appear in section A; if the
DELAY START option has been set, the countdown to the start of the selected programme will appear. Pressing
the relative button, the machine automatically displays the maximum temperature and spin speed values set for
the selected cycle, or the most recently-used settings if they are compatible with the selected cycle.

1. SWITCH THE MACHINE ON. Press the

button; the START/PAUSE indicator light will flash
slowly in a green colour.

2. LOAD THE LAUNDRY. Open the porthole door.

Load the laundry, making sure you do not exceed
the maximum load value indicated in the table of
programmes on the following page.

3. MEASURE OUT THE DETERGENT. Pull out the

detergent dispenser drawer and pour the detergent
into the relevant compartments as described in
"Detergents and laundry".
4. CLOSE THE DOOR.
5. SELECT THE WASH CYCLE. Set the WASH
CYCLE knob to the desired programme; a
temperature and spin speed is set for each wash
cycle; these may be adjusted. The duration of the
cycle will appear on the display.
6. CUSTOMISE THE WASH CYCLE. Use the
relevant buttons:
Modifying the temperature and/or spin
speed. The machine automatically displays the
maximum temperature and spin speed values set
for the selected cycle, or the most recently-used
settings if they are compatible with the selected
cycle. The temperature can be decreased by

7. START THE PROGRAMME. Press the START/

PAUSE button. The corresponding indicator light will
become green, remaining lit in a fixed manner, and
the door will be locked (the DOOR LOCKED
will be on). To change a wash cycle while

the START/PAUSE button (the START/PAUSE
indicator light will flash slowly in an orange colour);
then select the desired cycle and press the START/
PAUSE button again.

8. THE END OF THE WASH CYCLE. This will be
indicated by the text "END" on the display; when

If you wish to cancel a cycle which has already

soiled cotton and synthetic fabrics (refer to the "Table of

By selecting this option, the efficiency of the rinse is
increased and optimal detergent removal is guaranteed. It
is particularly useful for sensitive skin.
It cannot be used in conjunction with the 10,
programmes.
Easy iron
By selecting this function, the wash and spin cycles will be
modified in order to reduce the formation of creases. At
the end of the cycle the washing machine will perform slow
rotations of the drum; the indicator lights for the EASY
IRON and START/PAUSE options will flash (the first one
green, the second orange).
To end the cycle, press the START/PAUSE button or the
EASY IRON button.
For the 8 wash cycle, the machine will end the cycle while
the laundry is soaking and the EASY IRON and START/
PAUSE indicator lights will flash. To drain the water so that
the laundry may be removed, press the START/PAUSE
button or the EASY IRON button.
This function may not be used in conjunction with wash
cycles 7, 10, 11, 12, 13, , .
Detergents and laundry

Good washing results also depend on the correct
dose of detergent: adding too much detergent will not
necessarily result in a more efficient wash, and may in
fact cause build up on the inside of your appliance
and contribute to environmental pollution.
Do not use hand washing detergents because these

create too much foam.

Preparing the laundry

Divide the laundry according to:
- the type of fabric/the symbol on the label
- the colours: separate coloured garments from whites.
Empty all garment pockets and check the buttons.
Do not exceed the listed values, which refer to the
weight of the laundry when dry:
Durable fabrics: max. 6 kg
Synthetic fabrics: max. 2,5 kg
Delicate fabrics: max. 2 kg

Special wash cycles

Wool: all wool garments can be washed using
programme 7, even those carrying the "hand-wash
label. For best results, use special
only"
detergents and do not exceed 1,5 kg of laundry.
Silk: use special wash cycle 8 to wash all silk

garments. We recommend the use of special
detergent which has been designed to wash delicate
clothes.
Curtains: fold curtains and place them in a pillow
case or mesh bag. Use wash cycle 8.
Jeans: Turn garments inside-out before washing and
use a liquid detergent. Use programme 9.
Express: this wash cycle was designed to wash
lightly soiled garments quickly: it lasts just 15 minutes
and therefore saves both energy and time. By
selecting this wash cycle (10 at 30C), it is possible to
wash different fabrics together (except for wool and
silk items), with a maximum load of 1,5 kg.
Sport Intensive (wash cycle 11): is for washing
heavily soiled sports clothing fabrics (tracksuits,
shorts, etc.); for best results, we recommend not
exceeding the maximum load indicated in the "Table
of wash cycles".
Sport Light (wash cycle 12): is for washing lightly
soiled sports clothing fabrics (tracksuits, shorts, etc.);
for best results, we recommend not exceeding the
maximum load indicated in the "Table of wash
cycles". We recommend using a liquid detergent and
dosage suitable for a half-load.
Sport Shoes (wash cycle 13): is for washing sports
shoes; for best results, do not wash more than 2
pairs simultaneously.
Load balancing system

Before every spin cycle, to avoid excessive vibrations
and to distribute the load in a uniform manner, the
drum rotates continuously at a speed which is slightly
greater than the washing rotation speed. If, after
several attempts, the load is not balanced correctly,
the machine spins at a reduced spin speed. If the
load is excessively unbalanced, the washing machine
performs the distribution process instead of spinning.
To encourage improved load distribution and balance,
we recommend small and large garments are mixed
in the load.
Precautions and tips

This washing machine was designed and
constructed in accordance with international safety
regulations. The following information is provided for
safety reasons and must therefore be read carefully.
Opening the porthole door manually
General safety
This appliance was designed for domestic use only.
The washing machine must only be used by adults, in
accordance with the instructions provided in this manual.
Do not touch the machine when barefoot or with
wet or damp hands or feet.
Do not pull on the power supply cable when
unplugging the appliance from the electricity
socket. Hold the plug and pull.
Do not open the detergent dispenser drawer while
the machine is in operation.
Do not touch the drained water as it may reach
extremely high temperatures.
Never force the porthole door. This could damage
the safety lock mechanism designed to prevent
accidental opening.

In the event that it is not possible to open the

porthole door due to a powercut, and if you wish to
remove the laundry, proceed as follows:

1. remove the plug from

the electrical socket.
2. make sure the water
level inside the machine is
lower than the door
opening; if it is not, remove
excess water using the
drain hose, collecting it in a
bucket as indicated in the
figure.
3. using a screwdriver,
remove the cover panel on
the lower front part of the
washing machine (see
figure).
If the appliance breaks down, do not under any

circumstances access the internal mechanisms in
an attempt to repair it yourself.
Always keep children well away from the appliance
while it is operating.
The door can become quite hot during the wash cycle.
If the appliance has to be moved, work in a group
of two or three people and handle it with the utmost
care. Never try to do this alone, because the
appliance is very heavy.
Before loading laundry into the washing machine,
make sure the drum is empty.
Disposal
Disposing of the packaging materials: observe local
regulations so that the packaging may be re-used.
The European Directive 2002/96/EC on Waste
Electrical and Electronic Equipment, requires that
old household electrical appliances must not be
disposed of in the normal unsorted municipal waste
stream. Old appliances must be collected
separately in order to optimise the recovery and
recycling of the materials they contain and reduce
the impact on human health and the environment.
The crossed out "wheeled bin" symbol on the
product reminds you of your obligation, that when
you dispose of the appliance it must be separately
collected.
Consumers should contact their local authority or
retailer for information concerning the correct
disposal of their old appliance.

Care and maintenance

Cutting off the water and electricity

supplies
Turn off the water tap after every wash cycle. This
will limit wear on the hydraulic system inside the
washing machine and help to prevent leaks.
Unplug the washing machine when cleaning it and
during all maintenance work.
Cleaning the washing machine

The outer parts and rubber components of the
appliance can be cleaned using a soft cloth soaked
in lukewarm soapy water. Do not use solvents or
abrasives.
Cleaning the detergent dispenser

Remove the dispenser
by raising it and pulling it
out (see figure).
Wash it under running
water; this operation
should be repeated
frequently.
Cleaning the pump

The washing machine is fitted with a self-cleaning
pump which does not require any maintenance.
Sometimes, small items (such as coins or buttons)
may fall into the pre-chamber which protects the
pump, situated in its bottom part.
Make sure the wash cycle has finished and unplug

the appliance.
To access the pre-chamber:
1. using a screwdriver,
remove the cover panel
on the lower front part of
the washing machine
(see figure);
2. unscrew the lid by

rotating it anti-clockwise
(see figure): a little water
may trickle out. This is
perfectly normal;
Caring for the door and drum of your

appliance
Always leave the porthole door ajar in order to
prevent unpleasant odours from forming.
3. clean the inside thoroughly;

4. screw the lid back on;
5. reposition the panel, making sure the hooks are
securely in place before you push it onto the
appliance.
Checking the water inlet hose

Check the inlet hose at least once a year. If there are
any cracks, it should be replaced immediately: during
the wash cycles, water pressure is very strong and a
cracked hose could easily split open.
Never use second-hand hoses.

Troubleshooting
Your washing machine could fail to work. Before contacting the Technical Assistance Centre (see Assistance),
make sure that the problem cannot be not solved easily using the following list.

If the problem persists even after these checks, turn off the water tap,
switch the appliance off and contact the Assistance Service. If the
dwelling is on one of the upper floors of a building, there may be problems
relating to water drainage, causing the washing machine to fill with water
and drain continuously. Special anti-draining valves are available in shops
and help to avoid this inconvenience.

Tast cu led START/PAUZ : cnd ledul verde

emite un semnal intermitent, apsai tasta pentru a
porni ciclul de splare. Dup activarea ciclului, ledul
rmne aprins. Pentru a introduce o pauz n timpul
splrii, apsai din nou tasta: ledul va emite o

ua. Pentru a continua splarea, de unde a fost

Modalitatea de stand by
Aceasta masina de spalat rufe, conform noilor
norme legate de economia de curent electric, este
dotata cu un sistem de oprire automat (stand-by)
care intra n functiune dupa cteva minute de
neutilizare. Apasati scurt tasta ON-OFF si asteptati
repunerea n functiune a masinii.

Cum se desfoar un ciclu de

1. PUNEREA N FUNCIUNE A MAINII. Apsai

tasta ; Indicatorul START/PAUZ va emite un
semnal intermitent de culoare verde.
2. INTRODUCEREA RUFELOR. Deschidei ua.
Introducei rufele n main, fiind ateni s nu
depii cantitatea indicat n tabelul de programe
(vezi pagina urmtoare).
3. DOZAREA DETERGENTULUI. Extragei sertarul i
turnai detergent n compartimentele respective,
dup indicaiile din cap. Detergeni i rufe albe.
4. NCHIDEI UA.
5. ALEGEREA PROGRAMULUI. Selectai programul
dorit cu ajutorul selectorului de PROGRAME,
mpreun cu temperatura de splare i viteza
storctorului, acestea din urm putnd fi
modificate. Pe ecran va aprea i durata ciclului.
6. PERSONALIZAREA CICLULUI DE SPLARE.
Apsai tastele respective.
Modificare temperaturii i/sau a vitezei de
stoarcere. Masina afiseaza automat temperatura
si centrifuga maxime prevazute pentru programul
ales, sau ultimele selectate, daca sunt
se
compatibile cu programul. Apsnd tasta
poate reduce progresiv temperatura pn la
excluderea complet a nclzirii apei, OFF, care
corespunde cu splarea la rece. Apsnd tasta
putei micora treptat viteza de stoarcere, pn la
zero, anulnd complet centrifuga OFF. Din acest
moment, apsarea ulterioar a tastelor va aduce
valorile de temperatur i vitez de stoarcere la
cele maxime prevzute.
Configurarea pornirii ntrziate.
Pentru a programa pornirea ntrziat a mainii,
apsai tasta respectiv pentru a alege timpul de
ntrziere dorit. Cnd opiunea este activ, pe

7. ACTIVAREA UNUI PROGRAM. Apsai tasta

START/PAUZ. Indicatorul luminos se va aprinde
(culoarea verde) i ua se va bloca (simbolul U
BLOCAT se va aprinde). Pentru a modifica un
program n timpul executrii unui ciclu, apsai
tasta START/PAUZ pentru a ntrerupe momentan
ciclul; indicatorul corespunztor tastei START/
PAUZ se va aprinde intermitent (culoarea
portocalie). Alegei noul ciclul dorit i apsai din
nou tasta START/PAUZ.
Pentru a deschide ua n timpul executrii unui
ciclu, apsai tasta START/PAUZ; cnd simbolul
se stinge, putei deschide ua.
U BLOCAT
Apsai din nou tasta START/PAUZ pentru a
relua programul de unde era oprit.
8. TERMINAREA PROGRAMULUI.La ncheierea
ciclului, pe ecran va aprea mesajul END; cnd
se stinge, putei

deschide ua. Deschidei ua, scoatei rufele i
oprii maina de splat.
Dac dorii s anulai un ciclu deja demarat,inei

Un rezultat bun la splare depinde i de dozarea
corect a detergentului: excesul de detergent nu
garanteaz o splare mai eficient, ci contribuie la
deteriorarea prilor interne ale mainii de splat i
la poluarea mediului nconjurtor.
Nu introducei n main detergenii pentru

splarea manual deoarece formeaz prea mult
spum.

Jeans: ntoarcei pe dos rufele nainte de splare i
utilizai un detergent lichid. Utilizai programul 9.
Express: a fost studiat pentru a spla articolele
foarte puin murdare, n mod rapid: dureaz doar 15
de minute ceea ce economisete energie i timp.
Selectnd programul (10 la 30C) este posibil
splarea articolelor din materiale diferite (excluse
lna i mtasea) cu o greutate maxim de 1,5 kg.
Sport Intensive (programul 11) a fost studiat pentru
splarea esturilor utilizate la confecionarea
hainelor sportive (echipamente, pantaloni scuri etc.)
foarte murdare; pentru cele mai bune rezultate, se
recomand s nu depii cantitatea maxim admis
indicat n Tabel de programe.
Sport Light (programul 12) a fost studiat pentru
splarea esturilor utilizate la confecionarea
hainelor sportive (echipamente, pantaloni scuri etc.)
puin murdare; pentru cele mai bune rezultate, se
recomand s nu depii cantitatea maxim admis
indicat n Tabel de programe. Se recomand
utilizarea detergentului lichid ntr-o cantitate
adecvat unei ncrcri pe jumtate a mainii.
Sport Shoes (programul 13) a fost studiat pentru
splarea pantofilor de sport; pentru cele mai bune
rezultate, nu splai mai mult de 2 perechi deodat.
Sistemul de echilibrare a ncrcturii

Pentru a evita trepidaiile excesive, nainte de
stoarcere, cuva mainii va distribui cantitatea de rufe
n mod uniform, centrifuga efectund cteva rotaii la
o vitez mai mare dect viteza de splare. Dac,
dup numeroase ncercri, maina nu reuete s
echilibreze greutatea, stoarcerea rufelor se va face
la o vitez mai mic dect cea prevzut n program.
Dac instabilitatea este prea mare, maina va
distribui greutatea n locul centrifugei. Pentru a
favoriza o mai bun repartizare a rufelor i
echilibrarea corect a mainii, se recomand s
introducei n main att articole mari ct i mici.
Precauii i sfaturi
Maina de splat a fost proiectat i construit
conform normelor internaionale de protecie. Aceste

avertizri sunt furnizate din motive de siguran i
trebuie s fie citite cu atenie.
Norme de protecie i siguran generale
Deschiderea manual a uii
Acest aparat a fost conceput exclusiv pentru

utilizarea n locuine unifamiliale.
Maina de splat trebuie s fie folosit doar de
persoane adulte care respect instruciunile din acest
manual.
Nu atingei maina cnd suntei desculi sau cu
minile sau picioarele ude sau umede.
Nu scoatei stecherul din priz trgnd de cablu.
Nu deschidei compartimentul pentru detergent n
timp ce maina se afl n funciune.
Nu atingei apa golit din main: poate avea o
temperatur ridicat.
Nu forai n nici un caz ua: s-ar putea deteriora
mecanismul de siguran care evit deschiderea
accidental.

Dac nu este posibil s deschidei ua din cauza

ntreruperii curentului electric i dorii totui s
ntindei rufele, procedai dup cum urmeaz:

Controlai mereu ca n apropierea mainii aflate n
funciune, s nu se afle copii.
Pe durata splrii ua se poate nclzi.
Dac trebuie s deplasai maina, cerei ajutor unei
alte (sau 2) persoane i fii foarte ateni. Niciodat nu
deplasai maina singuri deoarece aceasta este
foarte grea.

Aruncarea reziduurilor
Eliminarea ambalajelor: respectai normele locale, n
acest fel ambalajele vor putea fi utilizate din nou.
Directiva European 2002/96/CE cu privire la deeurile
care provin de la aparatura electric sau electronic
prevede ca aparatele electrocasnice s nu fie colectate
mpreun cu deeurile urbane solide, obinuite.
Aparatele scoase din uz trebuie s fie colectate
separat att pentru a optimiza rata de recuperare i de
reciclare a materialelor componente ct i pentru a
evita pericolele care pot duce la dunarea sntii
omului sau poluarea mediului nconjurtor. Simbolul
tomberonului tiat care apare pe toate produsele v
amintete tocmai obligaia de a le colecta separat.
Pentru informaii suplimentare cu privire la scoaterea
din uz a electrocasnicelor, deintorii acestora pot
apela la centrele de colectare a deeurilor sau la
vnztorii de la care au achiziionat produsele
respective.

Partea extern i prile din cauciuc pot fi curate

autocurare care nu are nevoie de ntreinere. Se

Controlarea furtunului de alimentare cu ap

Controlai tubul de alimentare cel puin o dat pe an.
Dac prezint crpturi sau fisuri trebuie nlocuit: pe
parcursul splrilor, presiunea puternic ar putea
provoca crpturi neateptate.
Nu folosii niciodat tuburi folosite deja.

Se poate ntmpla ca maina de splat s nu funcioneze. nainte de a apela serviciul de Service
(a se vedea Asisten), verificai dac nu este vorba de o problem uor de rezolvat:

etaje ale unui edificiu, este posibil s aib loc fenomene de sifonare, motiv
pentru care maina de splat ncarc i descarc ap ncontinuu. Pentru a
elimina acest inconvenient, se gsesc n comer supape anti-sifonare.
Maina de splat nu se golete

Programul nu prevede golirea apei: n cazul anumitor programe, este

necesar activarea manual (a se vedea Programe i funcii).
Funcia CLCARE UOAR este activ: pentru a ncheia programul,
apsai tasta START/PAUZ (a se vedea Programe i funcii).
Furtunul de golire este ndoit (a se vedea Instalare).
Conducta de descrcare este nfundat.
Maina de splat vibreaz foarte

mult n timpul stoarcerii.
Cuva, n momentul instalrii, nu a fost deblocat n mod

corespunztor (a se vedea Instalare).
Maina de splat este n pant (a se vedea Instalare).
Maina de splat este prea aproape de perei i mobilier (a se vedea
Instalare).
Maina de splat pierde ap.
Furtunul de alimentare cu ap nu este bine nurubat (a se vedea Instalare).

Compartimentul de detergeni este nfundat (pentru a-l cura a se vedea
ntreinere i curare).
Furtunul de golire nu este bine fixat (a se vedea Instalare).
Indicatoarele de "optiuni" si "start/

pauza" sunt intermitente iar ecranul
afiseaza un cod de eroare (de ex., F01, F-..).
Oprii maina i scoatei stecherul din priz; ateptai aproximativ 1

minut nainte de a o reaprinde. Dac nu obinei nici un rezultat,
apelai Centrul de service pentru asisten.

Detergentul nu este compatibil cu maina de splat (trebuie s fie

scris pentru maina de splat, de mn sau n maina de splat,
sau ceva asemntor).
Dozajul a fost excesiv.

Verificai dac putei rezolva singuri problema (a se vedea Anomalii i remedii);
Pornii din nou programul pentru a controla dac inconvenientul a fost eliminat;
n caz negativ, luai legtura cu asistena tehnic autorizat la numrul telefonic indicat pe certificatul de
garanie.

Aceste informaii sunt specificate pe plcua cu date tehnice, lipit n partea din spate a mainii de splat

Atenionri n conformitate cu legislaia n vigoare

Conform prevederilor legislaiei privind gestionarea deeurilor, este interzis eliminarea deeurilor de echipamente
electrice i electronice (DEEE) alturi de deeurile municipale nesortate. Ele trebuie predate la punctele municipale
de colectare, societile autorizate de colectare/reciclare sau distribuitori (n cazul n care se achiziioneaz
echipamente noi de acelai tip).
Autoritile locale trebuie s asigure spaiile necesare pentru colectarea selectiv a deeurilor precum i
funcionalitatea acestora. Contactai societatea de salubrizare sau compartimentul specializat din cadrul primriei
pentru informaii detaliate.
Deeurile de echipamente electrice i electronice pot fi predate i distribuitorilor, la achiziionarea de echipamente
noi de acelai tip (schimb 1 la 1).
Predarea, de ctre utilizatori, a deeurilor de echipamente electrice i electronice, la punctele de colectare municipale, societile autorizate de colectare/reciclare sau distribuitori (n cazul n care se achiziioneaz echipamente noi
de acelai tip) faciliteaz refolosirea, reciclarea sau alte forme de valorificare a acestora.
Deeurile de echipamente electrice i electronice pot conine substane periculoase care pot avea un impact negativ
asupra mediului i sntii umane n cazul n care DEEE nu sunt colectate selectiv i gestionate conform
prevederilor legale.
Simbolul alturat (o pubela cu roi, barata cu dou linii n forma de X), aplicat pe un echipament electric
sau electronic, semnific faptul c acesta face obiectul unei colectri separate i nu poate fi eliminat
mpreun cu deeurile municipale nesortate.

Es importante conservar este manual para poder

consultarlo en cualquier momento. En caso de venta,
de cesin o de traslado, verifique que permanezca
junto con la lavadora para informar al nuevo
propietario sobre el funcionamiento y brindar las
correspondientes advertencias.
Una cuidadosa nivelacin brinda estabilidad a la

mquina y evita vibraciones, ruidos y desplazamientos
durante el funcionamiento. Cuando se instala sobre
moquetas o alfombras, regule los pies para conservar
debajo de la lavadora un espacio suficiente para la
ventilacin.
Lea atentamente las instrucciones: ellas contienen

importante informacin sobre la instalacin, el uso y la
seguridad.

1. Desembale la lavadora.
2. Controle que la lavadora no haya sufrido daos
durante el transporte. Si estuviera daada no la
conecte y llame al revendedor.
3. Quite los 4 tornillos de
proteccin para el
transporte y la arandela
de goma con el

distanciador ubicados en
la parte posterior (ver la
figura).
4. Cubra los orificios con los tapones de plstico

suministrados con el aparato.
5. Conserve todas las piezas: cuando la lavadora
deba ser transportada nuevamente, debern volver a
colocarse.
Los embalajes no son juguetes para los nios.

Nivelacin
1. Instale la lavadora sobre un piso plano y rgido, sin

apoyarla en las paredes, muebles ni en ningn otro
aparato.
2. Si el piso no est
perfectamente horizontal,
compense las
irregularidades
desenroscando o
enroscando las patas
delanteras (ver la figura);
el ngulo de inclinacin
medido sobre la superficie de trabajo, no debe

No utilice nunca tubos ya usados.
Utilice los suministrados con la mquina.

ciclo ha comenzado, el piloto se mantiene fijo. Para

puerta. Para que el lavado se reanude a partir del
momento en el cual fue interrumpido, presione

Modalidad de stand by
Esta lavadora est en conformidad con las nuevas
normativas vinculadas al ahorro energtico. Est
dotada de un sistema de auto-apagado (stand by)
que, en caso de no funcionamiento, se activa
pasados algunos minutos. Presionar brevemente el
botn ON-OFF y esperar que la mquina se active.

En la seccin A se visualiza la duracin de los distintos programas a disposicin y, para los que han comenzado, el
tiempo que falta para su finalizacin; si se hubiera seleccionado un COMIENZO RETRASADO, se visualiza el
tiempo que falta para que comience el programa seleccionado. Adems, presionando el botn correspondiente, la
mquina muestra automticamente la temperatura y la centrfuga mximas previstas para el programa fijado o las
ltimas seleccionadas si son compatibles con el programa elegido.
En la seccin B se visualizan las "fases de lavado" previstas para el ciclo seleccionado y, una vez comenzado el
programa, la "fase de lavado" en curso:

Cmo efectuar un ciclo de

lavado

1. ENCENDER LA MQUINA. Presione el botn ;

el piloto PUESTA EN MARCHA/PAUSA centellear
lentamente de color verde.
2. CARGAR LA ROPA. Abra la puerta. Cargue la
ropa, cuidando no superar la cantidad de carga
indicada en la tabla de programas de la pgina
siguiente.
3. DOSIFICAR EL DETERGENTE. Extraiga el
contenedor y vierta el detergente en las cubetas
correspondientes como se explica en "Detergentes
y ropa".
4. CERRAR LA PUERTA.
5. ELEGIR EL PROGRAMA. Seleccione el programa
deseado con el mando de PROGRAMAS; a dicho
programa se le asociar una temperatura y una
velocidad de centrifugado que se pueden modificar.
En la pantalla aparecer la duracin del ciclo.
6. PERSONALIZAR EL CICLO DE LAVADO. Utilice
los botones correspondientes:
Modificar la temperatura y/o el
centrifugado. La mquina muestra
automticamente la temperatura y la centrfuga
mximas previstas para el programa fijado o las
ltimas seleccionadas si son compatibles con el
se
programa elegido. Presionando el botn
disminuye progresivamente la temperatura hasta
llegar al lavado en fro "OFF". Presionando el botn
se disminuye progresivamente el centrifugado
hasta su exclusin "OFF". Si se presionan una vez
ms los botones, se volver a los valores mximos
previstos.
Seleccionar un comienzo retrasado.
Para seleccionar el comienzo retrasado del
programa elegido, presione el botn
correspondiente hasta alcanzar el tiempo de
retraso deseado. Cuando dicha opcin est

Para eliminar el comienzo retrasado, presione el
botn hasta que aparezca el mensaje OFF.
Modificar las
caractersticas del ciclo.
Presione el botn para activar la funcin; el

Si la funcin seleccionada no es compatible con

el programa elegido, el piloto centellear y la
funcin no se activar.
Si la funcin elegida no es compatible con otra

seleccionada precedentemente, el piloto

Las funciones pueden variar la carga

recomendada y/o la duracin del ciclo.
7. PONER EN MARCHA EL PROGRAMA. Presione
el botn PUESTA EN MARCHA/PAUSA. El piloto
correspondiente se iluminar de color verde fijo y la
puerta se bloquear (smbolo PUERTA
encendido). Para cambiar un

programa mientras un ciclo est en curso, ponga
la lavadora en pausa presionando el botn PUESTA
EN MARCHA/PAUSA (el piloto PUESTA EN
MARCHA/PAUSA centellear lentamente de color
anaranjado); luego seleccione el ciclo deseado y
presione nuevamente el botn PUESTA EN
MARCHA/PAUSA.
Para abrir la puerta mientras un ciclo est en
curso, presione el botn PUESTA EN MARCHA/
est
PAUSA; si el smbolo PUERTA BLOQUEADA
apagado, ser posible abrir la puerta. Presione
nuevamente el botn PUESTA EN MARCHA/
PAUSA para reanudar el programa a partir del
momento en el que se haba interrumpido.
8. FIN DEL PROGRAMA. En la pantalla aparecer el
mensaje "END", cuando el smbolo PUERTA
se apague, ser posible abrir la

puerta. Abra la puerta, descargue la ropa y apague
la mquina.
Si desea anular un ciclo que ya ha comenzado,
presione ms tiempo el botn . El ciclo se

interrumpir y la mquina se apagar.

Plancha fcil
Cuando se selecciona esta funcin, el lavado y el
centrifugado se modificarn oportunamente para disminuir
la formacin de arrugas. Al finalizar el ciclo, la lavadora
realizar lentas rotaciones del cesto; el piloto de la funcin
PLANCHA FCIL y el de PUESTA EN MARCHA/PAUSA
centellarn (el primero verde, el segundo anaranjado). Para
finalizar el ciclo se deber presionar el botn PUESTA EN
MARCHA/PAUSA o el botn PLANCHA FCIL.
En los programa 8 la mquina terminar el ciclo dejando la
ropa en remojo y el piloto de la funcin PLANCHA FCIL y
el de PUESTA EN MARCHA/PAUSA centellearn. Para
descargar el agua y poder sacar la ropa, es necesario
presionar el botn PUESTA EN MARCHA/PAUSA o el
botn PLANCHA FCIL.

Contenedor de detergentes
El buen resultado del lavado depende tambin de la
correcta dosificacin del detergente: si se excede la
cantidad, no se lava de manera ms eficaz, sino que
se contribuye a encostrar las partes internas de la
lavadora y a contaminar el medio ambiente.
No use detergentes para el lavado a mano porque
producen demasiada espuma.

Seda: utilice el programa correspondiente 8 para

lavar todas las prendas de seda. Se aconseja el uso
de un detergente especfico para prendas delicadas.
Cortinas: pliguelas y colquelas dentro de una
funda o de una bolsa de red. Utilice el programa 8.
Jeans: vuelva del revs las prendas antes del lavado
y utilice un detergente lquido. Utilice el programa 9.
Express (programa 10) fue estudiado para lavar
prendas ligeramente sucias y en poco tiempo: dura
slo 15 minutos y de esa manera permite ahorrar
energa y tiempo. Seleccionando el programa (9 a
30C) es posible lavar conjuntamente tejidos de
distinto tipo (excluidas lana y seda), con una carga
mxima de 1,5 kg.
Sport Intensive (programa 11) ha sido estudiado
para lavar tejidos usados en prendas deportivas
(chndales, pantalones cortos, etc.) muy sucios; para
obtener los mejores resultados es aconsejable no
superar la carga mxima indicada en la "Tabla de
programas".
Sport Light (programa 12) ha sido estudiado para
lavar tejidos usados en prendas deportivas
(chndales, pantalones cortos, etc.) poco sucios;
para obtener los mejores resultados es aconsejable
no superar la carga mxima indicada en la "Tabla de
programas". Se recomienda utilizar detergente lquido
y la dosis correspondiente a la media carga.
Sport Shoes (programa 13) ha sido estudiado para
lavar calzado deportivo; para obtener los mejores
resultados no lave ms de 2 pares a la vez.
Sistema de equilibrado de la carga

Antes de cada centrifugado, para evitar vibraciones
excesivas y para distribuir la carga de modo uniforme,
el cesto realiza rotaciones a una velocidad
ligeramente superior a la del lavado. Si despus de
varios intentos, la carga todava no est
correctamente equilibrada, la mquina realiza el
centrifugado a una velocidad inferior a la prevista.
Cuando existe un excesivo desequilibrio, la lavadora
realiza la distribucin antes que el centrifugado. Para
obtener una mejor distribucin de la carga y su
correcto equilibrado, se aconseja mezclar prendas
grandes y pequeas.
Precauciones y consejos
La lavadora fue proyectada y fabricada en
conformidad con las normas internacionales de

seguridad. Estas advertencias se suministran por
razones de seguridad y deben ser ledas
atentamente.
Apertura manual de la puerta

Si desea sacar la ropa de la lavadora y no es posible
abrir la puerta debido a un corte de energa elctrica,
proceda del siguiente modo:
Seguridad general
Este aparato ha sido fabricado para un uso de tipo
domstico exclusivamente.
La lavadora debe ser utilizada slo por personas
adultas y siguiendo las instrucciones contenidas en
este manual.
No toque la mquina con los pies desnudos ni con
las manos o los pies mojados o hmedos.
No desenchufe la mquina tirando el cable, sino
tomando el enchufe.
No abra el contenedor de detergentes mientras la
mquina est en funcionamiento.
No toque el agua de descarga porque puede
alcanzar temperaturas elevadas.
En ningn caso fuerce la puerta: podra daarse el
mecanismo de seguridad que la protege de
aperturas accidentales.
En caso de avera, no acceda nunca a los
mecanismos internos para intentar una reparacin.
Controle siempre que los nios no se acerquen a la
mquina cuando est en funcionamiento.
Durante el lavado, la puerta tiende a calentarse.
Si debe ser trasladada, debern intervenir dos o
ms personas, procediendo con el mximo
cuidado. La mquina no debe ser desplazada
nunca por una sola persona ya que es muy pesada.
Antes de introducir la ropa controle que el cesto
est vaco.

Eliminaciones
Eliminacin del material de embalaje: respete las
normas locales, de ese modo, los embalajes podrn
volver a ser utilizados.
En base a la Norma europea 2002/96/CE de
Residuos de aparatos Elctricos y Electrnicos, los
electrodomsticos viejos no pueden ser arrojados
en los contenedores municipales habituales; tienen
que ser recogidos selectivamente para optimizar la
recuperacin y reciclado de los componentes y
materiales que los constituyen, y reducir el impacto
en la salud humana y el medioambiente. El smbolo
del cubo de basura tachado se marca sobre todos
los productos para recordar al consumidor la
obligacin de separarlos para la recogida selectiva.
El consumidor debe contactar con la autoridad
local o con el vendedor para informarse en relacin
a la correcta eleminacin de su electrodomstico
viejo.
4. utilizando la lengeta indicada en la figura, tire

hacia fuera hasta liberar la varilla de plstico del
retn; posteriormente tire hacia abajo y
simultneamente abra la puerta.
5. vuelva a montar el panel verificando, antes de
empujarlo hacia la mquina, que los ganchos se
hayan introducido en las correspondientes ranuras.

Interrumpir el agua y la corriente

elctrica
Limpiar la bomba
Cierre el grifo de agua despus de cada lavado.

De este modo se limita el desgaste de la
instalacin hidrulica de la lavadora y se elimina el
peligro de prdidas.
La lavadora posee una bomba autolimpiante que no

necesita mantenimiento. Pero puede suceder que
objetos pequeos (monedas, botones) caigan en la
precmara que protege la bomba, situada en la parte
inferior de la misma.
Desenchufe la mquina cuando la debe limpiar y

durante los trabajos de mantenimiento.
Verifique que el ciclo de lavado haya terminado y

desenchufe la mquina.
Limpiar la lavadora
Para acceder a la precmara:
La parte externa y las partes de goma se pueden

limpiar con un pao embebido en agua tibia y jabn.
No use solventes ni productos abrasivos.
Limpiar el contenedor de

Extraiga el contenedor

hayan introducido en las correspondientes ranuras.
Controlar el tubo de alimentacin de

agua
Controle el tubo de alimentacin al menos una vez al
ao. Si presenta grietas o rajaduras debe ser
sustituido: durante los lavados, las fuertes presiones
podran provocar roturas imprevistas.
No utilice nunca tubos ya usados.

Anomalas y soluciones
Puede suceder que la lavadora no funcione. Antes de llamar al Servicio de Asistencia Tcnica
(ver Asistencia),controle que no se trate de un problema de fcil solucin utilizando la siguiente lista.

El botn PUESTA EN MARCHA/PAUSA no ha sido presionado.
El grifo de agua no est abierto.
Se fij un retraso de la hora de puesta en marcha (ver Cmo efectuar un
ciclo de lavado).
La lavadora no carga agua (en la

pantalla se visualizar el
mensaje "H2O" centelleante).
El tubo de alimentacin de agua no est conectado al grifo.

El tubo est plegado.
El grifo de agua no est abierto.
En la casa no hay agua.
No hay suficiente presin.
El botn PUESTA EN MARCHA/PAUSA no ha sido presionado.
La lavadora carga y descarga

agua continuamente.
El tubo de descarga no est instalado entre los 65 y 100 cm. del suelo (ver Instalacin).
El extremo del tubo de descarga est sumergido en el agua (ver Instalacin).
La descarga de pared no posee un respiradero.
Si despus de estas verificaciones, el problema no se resuelve, cierre el grifo
de agua, apague la lavadora y llame a la Asistencia. Si la vivienda se
encuentra en uno de los ltimos pisos de un edificio, es posible que se
verifiquen fenmenos de sifonaje, por ello la lavadora carga y descarga agua
de modo continuo. Para eliminar este inconveniente se encuentran
disponibles en el comercio vlvulas especiales que permiten evitar el sifonaje.
La lavadora no descarga o no
centrifuga.
El programa no prev la descarga: con algunos programas es necesario

ponerla en marcha manualmente (Programas y funciones).
Se puede utilizar la funcin Plancha fcil: para completar el programa,
pulse el botn PUESTA EN MARCHA/PAUSA (Programas y funciones).
El tubo de descarga est plegado (ver Instalacin).
El conducto de descarga est obstruido.
La lavadora vibra mucho durante

la centrifugacin.
El cesto, en el momento de la instalacin, no fue desbloqueado

correctamente (ver Instalacin).
La mquina no est instalada en un lugar plano (ver Instalacin).
Existe muy poco espacio entre la mquina, los muebles y la pared (ver
Instalacin).
La lavadora pierde agua.
El tubo de alimentacin de agua no est bien enroscado (ver Instalacin).

El contenedor de detergentes est obstruido (para limpiarlo ver
Mantenimiento y cuidados).
El tubo de descarga no est bien fijado (ver Instalacin).
Los pilotos de las "Funciones" y

el piloto de "puesta en marcha/
pausa" parpadean y en el
display aparece un cdigo de
anomala (Ej.: F-01, F-..).
Apague la mquina y desenchfela, espere aproximadamente 1 minuto

y luego vuelva a encenderla.
Si la anomala persiste, llame al Servicio de Asistencia Tcnica.
Se forma demasiada espuma.
El detergente no es especfico para la lavadora (debe contener algunas

de las frases para lavadora, a mano o en lavadora o similares).
La dosificacin fue excesiva.

Antes de llamar al Servicio de Asistencia Tcnica:
Verifique si la anomala la puede resolver Ud. solo (ver Anomalas y soluciones);
Vuelva a poner en marcha el programa para controlar si el inconveniente fue resuelto;
Si no es as, llame al Servicio de Asistencia tcnica autorizado, al nmero de telfono indicado en el
certificado de garanta.

Um cuidadoso nivelamento d estabilidade mquina

Esta mquina de lavar roupa, em conformidade com
as novas normas sobre a economia energtica,
dispe de um sistema de desligao automtica
(stand by) que entra em funo alguns minutos
depois, no caso de inutilizao. Carregue brevemente
no boto ON/OFF e aguarde at a reactivao da
mquina.

O bom resultado da lavagem depende tambm do

emprego da dose certa de detergente: com excessos
no se lava de maneira mais eficaz, mas contribui-se
para formar crostas nas peas internas da mquina
de lavar roupa e poluir o meio ambiente.

fronha ou de um saquinho de rede. Utilize o programa 8.
Jeans: vire do avesso as roupas antes de lavar e use
um detergente lquido. Utilize o programa 9.
Express foi estudado para lavar peas levemente sujas
em pouco tempo: leva apenas 15 minutos e, desta
maneira, economiza energia e tempo. Se regular o
programa (10 a 30C) ser possvel lavar juntos tecidos
de natureza diferente (excepto l e seda), com uma
carga mxima de 1,5 Kg.
Sport Intensive (programa 11) foi estudado para lavar
tecidos para vesturio desportivo (fatos de treino,
cales, etc.) muito sujos; para obter os melhores
resultados, recomenda-se no superar a carga mxima
indicada na "Tabela dos programas".
Sport Light (programa 12) foi estudado para lavar
tecidos para vesturio desportivo (fatos de treino,
cales, etc.) pouco sujos; para obter os melhores
resultados, recomenda-se no superar a carga mxima
indicada na "Tabela dos programas". Recomenda-se o
uso de detergente lquido, na dose adequada para a
meia carga.
Sport Shoes (programa 13) foi estudado para lavar
calados desportivos; para obter os melhores resultados
no lave mais de 2 pares por ciclo.

Sistema de balanceamento da carga

Antes de cada centrigfugao, para evitar vibraes
excessivas e para distribuir a carga em modo
uniforme, o tambor efectua algumas rotaes a uma
velocidade levemente superior quela de lavagem. Se
no fim de repetidas tentativas a carga ainda no
estiver correctamente balanceada, a mquina
efectuar a centrifugao com uma velocidade
inferior quela prevista. No caso de um excessivo
desbalanceamento, a mquina de lavar roupa
efectuar a distribuio ao invs da centrifugao.
Para favorecer uma melhor distribuio da carga e o
seu correcto balanceamento, aconselha-se misturar
peas grandes com peas pequenas.
Precaues e conselhos
Esta mquina de lavar roupa foi projectada e fabricada
em conformidade com os regulamentos internacionais
de segurana. Estas advertncias so fornecidas por
razes de segurana e devem ser lidas com ateno.
Abertura manual da porta de vidro

Caso no seja possvel abrir a porta de vidro por falta
de energia elctrica e quiser pendurar a roupa lavada,
proceda da seguinte maneira:
Segurana geral
Este aparelho foi projectado exclusivamente para
um uso domstico.
Esta mquina de lavar roupa deve ser utilizada
somente por pessoas adultas e conforme as
instrues apresentadas neste manual.
No toque na mquina com os ps descalos nem
com as mos ou os ps molhados ou hmidos.
No puxe o cabo elctrico para tirar a ficha da
tomada, pegue a ficha mesmo.
No abra a gaveta dos detergentes enquanto a
mquina estiver a funcionar.
No toque a gua de descarga, que poder chegar
a temperaturas altas.
Em nenhum caso force a porta para abri-la: poder
danificar o mecanismo de segurana que a protege
contra aberturas acidentais.

Se for preciso desloc-la, so precisas pelo menos
duas ou trs pessoas, com a mxima ateno.
Nunca sozinho porque a mquina muito pesada.
Antes de colocar a roupa verifique que o tambor
esteja vazio.
Eliminao
Eliminao do material de embalagem: obedea os
regulamentos locais, de maneira que as
embalagens possam ser reutilizadas.
A directiva Europeia 2002/96/CE referente gesto
de resduos de aparelhos elctricos e electrnicos,
prev que os electrodomsticos no devem ser
escoados no fluxo normal dos resduos slidos
urbanos. Os aparelhos desactualizados devem ser
recolhidos separadamente para optimizar a taxa de
recuperao e reciclagem dos materiais que os
compem e impedir potenciais danos para a sade
humana e para o ambiente. O smbolo constitudo
por um contentor de lixo barrado com uma cruz
deve ser colocado em todos os produtos por forma
a recordar a obrigatoriedade de recolha separada.
Os consumidores devem contactar as autoridades
locais ou os pontos de venda para solicitar informao referente ao local apropriado onde devem
depositar os electrodomsticos velhos.

Manuteno e cuidados

Interromper a alimentao de gua e

de corrente elctrica
Feche a torneira da gua depois de cada
lavagem. Desta maneira diminuiu-se o desgaste
do sistema hidrulico da mquina de lavar roupa e
elimina-se o risco de inundao.
Limpar a bomba
Esta mquina de lavar roupa equipada com uma
bomba com limpeza automtica que no precisa de
operaes de manuteno. Entretanto pode
acontecer que pequenos objectos (moedinhas,
botes) caiam na pr-cmara que protege a bomba,
situada na parte inferior da mesma.
Tire a ficha da tomada elctrica quando for limpar

a mquina de lavar roupa e durante os trabalhos
de manuteno.
Certifique-se que o ciclo de lavagem tenha

terminado e tire a ficha da tomada.
Limpar a mquina de lavar roupa
Para obter acesso pr-cmara:
A parte externa e as peas em borracha podem ser

limpas com um pano molhado com gua morna e
sabo. No empregue solventes nem abrasivos.
