Vendor shall design, fabricate, test & deliver two 12" motor operated coker switch
valves, in accordance with the following requirements:

SERVICE
Valve will be used in switching hot hydrocarbon fluid (liquid vapor mixture)
from coker heater to a pair of coke drums.

accidental positioning of the valve in the bypass position.
The
actuator mechanism must be provided with a declutching manual
handwheel override with position indicator.

Control Panel
Vendor to furnish one NEMA 4X local mounted control panel for left drum,
right drum and bypass control for each switch valve. The control panel
shall be
suitable for the electrical area classification noted herein.
Panels shall include all indicating lights, pushbuttons and switches for
operation of the valve.

Vendor to submit two copies of weld repair procedure to the Purchaser for
approval.
In addition to the vendors standard practice the vendor shall perform the
following NDT examinations where applicable.
100% x ray of all pressure welds per ANSI B31.3 to 100% interpretation.
100% x ray of castings in accordance with MSS SP-54.
100% MT particle examination after machining per MSS SP-53.
Visual inspection per MSS SP-55.
Hydrostatic shell test and low pressure seat tests in accordance with API
598, Valve Inspection & Test.

Vendor to advise if any other tests are required per vendors standard
practice.
5.3
The purchaser or its clients reserves the right to witness all tests and
to inspect all items being furnished in the vendor's shop.
The vendor
shall notify the purchaser not less than two weeks in advance prior to any
tests being performed.
5.4
Vendor to furnish Mill test certificates for all materials that require
PMI. This item requires PMI per Job Spec 37662-89A3.
