Class organization procedure and


activities
Teacher stays in front of the class and asks
them on L1 to tell her something they have
already known about parts of the body. She
encourages them to tell her as many as
possible. Then she asks them to tell her some
parts of the body in English, if they know.
She tells them that they are going to talk
about parts of the body. She writes the title
on the board and asks pupils to do the same.
She also writes the date to improve pupils
vocabulary and pronunciation.

copy it into their notebooks.

the story. She asks some questions about the
story. Who can you see? She also asks
children to name as many parts of the body
in the picture as they can. Then she calls up
children to look at each frame of the story
and tell what it is happening. She encourages
predictions from different members of the
class. T asks children to look at the poster
while she plays the recording for them to
listen. She points to each speech bubble in
turn as she hears the text. Then she asks:
Does Rosy put sun cream on her arms?
Where does Billy put sun cream?
Then she says to pupils to take their CB and
open them. They listen to the story and
follow the words in the story as the teacher
plays the recording again. They read the
story.
