Teacher draws parts of the body one by one.

After each part she asks pupils to tell her what Chalk
that is. She starts from the head to the legs.

She involves different pupils to tell her the

Teacher asks them to look at the exercise 2Listen and point. She plays the recording for
children to listen and follow the text in their
books. She plays the recording a second time
and answer the questions they have.
What is this? Where is the tail? What colour is
it? Is it a cat? Is it a bird? They look at the
text again and read the captions as a class.
Teacher calls up individual pupils to read
different captions.

correct order. Teacher asks children to look at
the pictures again and she plays the recording
and asks children to point to the pictures in
exercise 3as they hear them described.
Children read the captions 1 to 6. She allows

through the answers as a class and writes up
the answers on the board.
Teacher invites pupils to look at the pictures
in exercise 1 on page 25. She asks them
simple questions and calls up different pupils
to give the answers. The she plays the
recording and asks pupils to listen to the
description carefully. 1. This time they dont
do anything else.
1. It is brown. Its got green eyes and two
ears. Its a goat.
2. It is brown and white. Its got a black
nose and brown eyes. Its a dog.
3. It is yellow. Its got a brown nose and
a yellow face. Its a lion.
