The Frames group of companies operates / executes projects according an effective quality

assurance system adapted to the size of the company to ensure that all requirements of the

requisition and agreed documents are achieved. The quality assurance system is in accordance
with the ISO 9001 - 2008 standard. The approval certificate is obtained from Lloyds Register
Quality Assurance, an external verifying authority.

As an integral part of our project execution, Frames will submit project specific quality documentation. This

documentation is a combination of our general Quality Management System and the project specific Test and

Inspection Plan. Frames assures that technical and quality assurance requirements specified in the enquiry and
purchase documents are applied to all materials, equipment and services provided by sub-contractors.
9.2 Health, Safety and Environment Philosophy
Since 1998 Frames holds a formal Safety Assurance System according to the Dutch standard
VCA (translated SCC, which is the abbreviation of Safety, Health and Environmental Checklist for

Contractors). The SCC originates from, and was in the first instance developed by, the Dutch and
Belgian (petro-) chemical industry, resulting in the system being based on the best practices
within the (petro-) chemical industry.

Frames is certified according the highest level SCC**, which is intended for companies with 35 or more

employees, including temporary employees and for companies that act as main contractors. Frames has
Assurance.
In addition to SCC** Frames is also certified according OHSAS 18001. OHSAS 18001 is the

Occupational Health and Safety Assessment Series for health and safety management systems.
It is intended to help an organization control occupational health and safety risks. It was
developed in a cooperative manner by leading international standards organizations in

response to widespread demand for a recognized standard, against which to be certified and

assessed. While the standard does not contain specific performance requirements, it does include

requirements for commitment to the management of hazards and risks, as well as compliance with regulatory
requirements. All employees are committed to identifying and reporting safety concerns and are involved in
implementing solutions for any potential hazard.
