Helping Young People Get Interested in Careers in Science

Yale Pathways to Science invites local students
to more than 100 free programs and events on
Yales campus each year. At Brain Education
Day, Pathways students tour Yale neuroscience
laboratories, learn about sensation and
perception, and examine brain anatomy.

Yale Universitys Cushing Center, which houses the collection of Harvey Cushing, the pioneer and father
of neurosurgery, offers weekly tours that are free and open to the public on Thursdays at 2pm
and Fridays at 11am and 2pm. Visit yale.edu/scienceoutreach for more information on how area
students can sign up for the Pathways to Science Program.
