Description
The actuator consists of the following:
A brass body (1) fitted with a handle, that attaches onto the valve control boss (3) and is sealed
with an O-ring seal.
A PIST (2) type piston that is essential for perforating punctured seal valves (type VS12/VR12C/
VSB33).
When pressure is applied:
The piston opens the valve by puncturing the seal (type VS12/VR12C/VSB33)
or
The pneumatic slide valve moves, which opens the valve, releasing the pressure (type VFR300).

Storage
In the original packaging, protected against shock.

Maintenance/servicing
A visual inspection of the actuator must be performed once every six months. After triggering: remove the CM16. Before fitting, fit a new PIST if VS12/
VR12C/VSB33 valve type, check the condition of the trigger (gasket) and if required repair it (stainless steel pin + seal) Then to assemble, proceed as
described in the APEXT MASTER / APEXT INSTALL for the type of installation performed.
