Cut out animation:Cut-out animation is a technique for producing stop-animations by using flat

characters, props and backgrounds cut from materials such as paper, card, stiff
fabric or even photographs. The world's earliest known animated feature films
were cut-out animations (made in Argentina by Quirino Cristiana), as is the world's
earliest surviving animated feature. Today, cut-out-style animation is frequently
produced using computers, with scanned images or vector graphics taking the
place of physically cut materials. South Park is a notable example of this transition
since its first episode was made with paper cut-out before switching to computer
software.

Cut out the parts of character from sheet
Then parts were colored
Join the parts of character with thread (to make it moveable)
Check the characters joints movement
Take the images of character

Post production 1. Open compositing software.

2. After opening software, create new compositing
3. In compositing window set the setting according to your need such as,
compostion size, frames per seconded
4. We import our all images/frames in any compositing software (such as adobe
after effect cc 2014)
5. After importing all frames then we arrange all frame in a sequence.
6. After arranging in frames in a sequence, we export our file in a video format
such as avi, or mpeg.

Stop-motion:Stop motion is an animation technique that physically

manipulates an object that appears to move on its own. The
object is moved in small increments between individually
photographed frames, creating the illusion of movement when the
series of frames is played as a continuous sequence. Dolls with
movable joints or clay figures are often used in stop motion for
their ease of repositioning. Stop motion animation using plasticine
is called clay animation or "clay-motion". Not all stop motion
requires figures or models; many stop motion films can involve
using humans, household appliances and other things for comedic
effect. Stop motion using objects is sometimes referred to as
object animation.

Claymation
Claymation is the generalized term for clay animation, a form of stop animation
using clay. The term was coined by its creator, Will Vinton, owner of an animation
studio that worked with clay artists to create clay animation. Claymation involves
using objects or characters sculpted from clay or other moldable material and
then taking a series of still pictures that are replayed in rapid succession to create
the illusion of movement. Some of the more famous characters created in this form
include Gumby and Pokey, Wallace and Gromit, and the California Raisins.

Cut the thermacol parts of characters by thermocol cutter
Now cover all thermacol parts of character by layer of molding clay
Attached the different part of character at characters armature
Make the essential expression component cutouts and stick it to the clay
model
8. Now, check the movements of parts of clay model
