Block 1. Comprehension of oral texts
Functions: Greetings and introductions. Description of people, personal and habits.
Strategies: Mobilization of prior information. Formulation of hypothesis & understanding new
meanings through a story and a picture dictation.
Block 2.: Oral text production: expression and interaction
Communicative Functions: Using oral expression and interaction to ask and answer questions
about people. Selection of oral production to include in the portfolio.
Strategies: using paralinguistic strategies and spontaneous expression and own initiative. Selfcheck, collaborative review and review by the teacher.
Block 3. Comprehension of written text
Communicative Purposes: Understanding texts and expressions to answer a quiz. Understanding
the use of basic spelling and punctuation signs of frequent use. Use of graphic patterns: /h/, /s/, //
Strategies: Formulation of hypotheses about the content and context to guess a quiz.
Block 4. Production of written text and interaction
Communicative Purposes: Interaction through written messages. Expressing ideas and opinions by
means of writing with the computer.
Strategies: Using models to write compositions. Selection of the best productions for the portfolio.
