I plan to enroll in the Early Childhood Education program at UNLV in the fall. Before I can take the early childhood program, I must attempt to pass the Praxis. I will need to pass all of the Praxis Exams as I work through the program. There will be a point where I am not allowed to take any more classes until I pass the Praxis. Exam Preparation Before taking the exam, I read up on what exactly the test entailed. The practice questions on the Teachers Test Prep website were very helpful to me in studying for the test. I plan to study the practice questions before taking each of the actual Praxis exams. Exam Results On my math exam, I scored a 79% which is borderline. The math exam score shows that I will definitely need to study and work on my math before taking the actual Praxis. My reading exam score was 82%, which is likely to pass. Even though I scored a likely to pass, I will continue to study for this part of the exam. I scored 78% on the writing, which is borderline. I plan to practice my writing skills before taking the Praxis.
Future Exam Preparation
I will need to continue to study so I can successfully pass the Praxis exams. My goal is to take each exam one time, but I understand that it may take more than one attempt. The study questions will help me practice for each exam. I probably will not hire a tutor until I see my test scores after taking each exam the first time. However, if I do not pass the exams the first time, I will consider hiring a tutor at that point.
