This is a sample library like no other.

There are electric piano libraries, there are even Fender Rhodes libraries - but this is a
special case. This library is based on lovingly preserved samples of Chick Corea's own
personal Fender Rhodes Mark V - a model he worked on and with, with Harold Rhodes. For
instance crafting a custom hammer configuration: At F# below Middle C the hammers were
modified from the standard neoprene to wooden, creating an almost 'split keyboard' effect
that lets notes in the treble register 'speak' with a clarity and punch that you simply didn't get
on a standard Fender Rhodes.
The sample session, using a specially developed 'vorsetzer' player piano mechanism in
order to capture pristinely balanced velocities across the entire keyboard scale, was
conducted especially for this collection and is not available in any other format.
Based on a massive 400 MB of sample data, this 12-layer collection is not looped; the full
sustain of each note being maintained throughout.
From the original source files Yamaha engineers have created a landmark sample library
employing WXC compression that is only available on direct-from-factory ROM material;
programming an additional 12 Voices that illustrate the wealth of potential for your own
creativity in this collection.
A rare and magical collection that should be part of every serious MOTIF user's collection.

Important note:
By loading the All-file all current USER data in the MOTIF XF (User Voices,
Performances, Master programs, User Arpeggios, Songs, Pattern, Utility settings,
User Waveforms, and Samples in the SDRAM memory) are overwritten. User
Waveforms and Samples already stored in the Flash Memory are not overwritten.
If you haven't backed up your USER data yet, you should do so now (File Type all SAVE).
All Factory Voices can be restored by performing a Factory Set (UTILITY JOB).

Steps to install the file to the Flash Memory FL1 of the MOTIF XF:

Connect the USB stick to the USB TO DEVICE connector of the MOTIF XF
FILE F1 File
Type = all
Select the file Chick`s XF Rhodes.X3A
FL1 > FL1 (= normal setting)
SF2 Load Yes

The installation process requires around 20 minutes. Please don't turn off the instrument
while Now installing to the Flash Expansion Memory Module is shown in the display!
If you want to install the Samples to the Memory Module FL2 you have to change the
destination setting to FL1 > FL2.

You can install the Symphonic Orchestra Library and the Chick Coreas Mark V Library
side by side in a 1 GB Flash memory.
First, install the Symphonic Orchestra Library as described in its ReadMe file.
Then load the Chick Coreas Mark V Library by following these steps:

FILE F1 File
Type = 1 Bank Voice
Bank = USR 2
Select the file Chick`s XF Rhodes.X3A + press ENTER
Select USR 2 from the directory (Dir)
FL1 > FL1 (= pre set)
SF2 Load Yes

You can also load the demo songs using the file type song. However, this has to be done
from within the Song mode.
