II.PRESENTATION
Warm-up, Motivation, Instructional Objectives
The teacher greets the class and asks how they are. She starts the lesson with some
questions like Do you like listening to music?, What kind of music do you like?, Do you play
any musical instruments? Then she writes the title of the song on the board and undelies word
wonderful. She asks synonyms for wonderful from the class. Then, she states that today they
will listen to a song. She states its title and asks what kind of words and phrases the students
expect to hear in this song. She writes them on the board. After making them ready for the song,
she hands out the activity papers.
II.PRACTICE
The activity paper consists of the pictures and lyrics of the song called as What a
wonderful world . The teacher wants the students to look at the pictures and predict what the
song is about. Then she wants the students to order the pictures as they appear in the song. The
song is divided into 2 parts. In the first part there are some words written in bold. The students
are expected to listen to the song carefully and choose the correct word they hear. In the second

part, there are some missing words that students should fill in. After completing the song, the
teacher asks some questions about the song.
III. PRODUCTION
As a production activity, the teacher wants the students to get in pairs. She wants the
students to come up with as many words as they can that describe a wonderful world. Then she
asks to add adjectives to these words. Finally, she wants the students to write their own verse for
What a wonderful world and share it with a class. Then, she ends the lesson.
