Australian Politics
Weekly Reading Task
The purpose of this assessment task is to encourage you to engage with the
weekly readings and to critically reflect on some of the key issues raised in the
text. Each week you are required to briefly respond to one or more set questions
based on the required reading for that weeks topic. You are not expected to
draw on any material beyond the required readings for this task although you
may choose to do so. Some of these questions will ask you to define or explain
key terms and concepts others may require you to think more deeply about
issues and arguments raised by the readings. Responses should be between
100- words in each question and should be fully referenced as per expected
academic standards. You should complete the task each week prior to your
tutorial and place your responses in a single Word document throughout the
semester. The document is to be submitted via Turnitin so there should be no
plagiarism . Please make sure that you clearly identify the question/week you are
responding to prior to submitting the final document.
