Tips:

Recommended yarn: cotton, medium, 3 mm hook.

The tunic is worked in round from top down.
The base chain is worked as long as you need to meet the requirements. For an off shoulder look
make it longer.

Pattern:
1. Chain the initial chain multiples of 4 +1
2. Ch3, sk2, *1dc,sk 2* repeat ** till the end of the row sl st ( 2 or 3 rows)
3. Sl st in the first ch2 space, ch3 ch2 21dc ch4, (in the next ch space) 1dc ch2 1dc ch4 repeat **
till the end of the row sl st
4. Repeat 3 twice.
5. ch3 ch2 1dc ch5, (in the next ch space) *1dc ch2 1dc ch5* repeat ** till the end of the row sl st
6. ch3 ch2 1dc ch3 1sc (in the 5 ch space below) ch3, *1dc ch2 1dc ch3 1sc (in the 5 ch space
below) ch3* repeat ** till the end of the row sl st
7. Repeat 5 and 6
8. ch3 ch2 1dc ch6, (in the next ch space) *1dc ch2 1dc ch6* repeat ** till the end of the row sl st
9. ch3 ch2 1dc ch3 1sc (in the 6 ch space below) ch3, *1dc ch2 1dc ch3 1sc (in the 6 ch space
below) ch3* repeat ** till the end of the row sl st
10. ch3 1dc ch2 2dc ch6, (in the next ch space) *2dc ch2 2dc ch6* repeat ** till the end of the
row sl st
11. ch3 1dc ch2 2dc ch3 1sc (in the 6 ch space below) ch3, *2dc ch2 2dc ch3 1sc (in the 6 ch space
below) ch3* repeat ** till the end of the row sl st
*12. ch3 1dc ch2 2dc ch7, (in the next ch space) *2dc ch2 2dc ch7* repeat ** till the end of the
row sl st
*13. ch3 1dc ch2 2dc ch3 1sc (in the 7 ch space below) ch3, *2dc ch2 2dc ch3 1sc (in the 7 ch
space below) ch3* repeat ** till the end of the row sl st
And this concludes the round increase.
Work as many repetitions of 12 and 13 as necessary to get the required length. Recommended
length is to 2 inches above the elbow.

Shape the body and armholes.

So far you have a cape. In order to continue down you must measure the circumference of your
chest or how loose you want the finished item to be.

Divide this measurement in 4 quarter ( ex: 44 cm /4= 11cm) . Place the crocheted cape on a flat
surface. On one side find the middle group of stitches. Measure from the middle one quarter(ex:
11cm) to each side. Use stitch markers.

Work *12 in round linking from one side to the other where the stitch markers are leaving the arm
opening. Work down *13 and continue alternating *12 and *13 until the hip line.

For the hip line work row 2 for 8 times.

Hip border:
In the last grid row starting from a ch2 space , c7 skipping 2 chain spaces and sc in the next.
Repeat till the end of the row.
In each 7ch space work 4dc ch1 4dc and 2dctog on top of the sc in the previous row
Ch8 1sc ( in the 1ch space below)repeat
Ch4, 1dc ch2 1dc (in the 1sc below), ch4 1sc ( in the middle of the next 3ch space)repeat
Ch2, 2dc ch2 2dc (in the 1sc below), ch2 1sc ( in the middle of the next 3ch space)repeat
Ch2, 3dc ch2 3dc (in the 1sc below), ch2 1sc ( in the middle of the next 3ch space)repeat
Ch3, 3dc ch2 3dc (in the 1sc below), ch3 1sc ( in the middle of the next 3ch space)repeat
