Senior Screening Assistant II • Worked in the Pre-Surgical Test (P.S.T) area assisiting the supervisor in the coordination of patient flow into the rooms. • Break-down of P.S.T charts to be sent down to CIC for scanning. • Prepare charts for the Pre-testing and release orders for blood work. • Call outside doctor offices to obtain medical, cardiac and pulmonary clearance letters for surgery. • Schedule appointments for Pre-testing from the clinic offices for same day testing. • Worked at the front desk greeting and admitting patients that came for surgery, chemotherapy, pre-admission testing or emergency admits. My duties also entailed my calling doctor offices to locate patients running late for their appointments. • Prepared charts for patients who are coming for surgery.
