Check for the inlet air receiver tank pressure (4-8 kg/cm are normal) and set pressure (1-2 kg/cm are normal) for inlet seal. Check visually for gap/leakage of material at the sealing surfaces. Check the FRL unit for oil and dust. Check for any leakage in inlet seal air line. Check for any leakage in water line. Check whether all pneumatic cylinders are working properly or not. Check the oil level of all roller bearings (weekly). Check the oil level of kiln Main/Aux. gear box (weekly). Check the water pressure (1.5-2.5 kg/cm are normal) and all the valves (water line) for open/close position. Check the oil level in P.A. Fan bearings. Check the Hydraulic thruster panel/ for any leakage. Check the Axial Pressure of kiln (120-160 kg/cm are normal) for any fluctuations. Check visually for any cracks formation in kiln tube. Check visually for impressions made by foreign bodies on the tire surfaces. Check the bearing temperatures (60C at bearing or 50C at bearing housing are normal). Check the graphite lubrication for kiln supporting roller/thruster roller. Check the gear case temperature (Main gear box) particularly at shaft bearings (50C-70C are normal). Check/listen whether there are abnormal noises on gears. Check for leaks at the flanges and hose connection for burner pipe. Check visually for overheating or scorch marks on tire surfaces/inlet sealing surfaces.
