COURSE OBJECTIVES ENGINEERING MECHANICS

To practice students in applying their knowledge of mathematics, science &

engineering in real life problems & expand this knowledge into the vast area of
rigid body mechanics.
To prepare the students for higher level courses such as courses in mechanics of
solids, dynamics of machinery & machine design.
