Head of faculty to 70+ members and 450+ students with a focus on Audio and Business. Purposefully
organized and managed faculty hiring and retention and ensured compliance with all state and
accreditation regulations. Guided faculty on updates to all programs, and filed programs/ licenses to the
New York State Department of Education and accreditation body, including school and faculty licenses
and Self Evaluation Report. Provided feedback to faculty through grade distribution reports, student
surveys, and the plans for assessing student learning.
Obtained a no-finding ruling from ACCSC on their Reaccreditation visit, by ensuring faculty
and staff compliance with academic regulations.
Directed the process in establishing readiness for degree granting status by guiding faculty in
creation of curriculum, assembling needed paperwork, and preparing the Self Study Report
required by NYSED.
Created an additional program for potential educational growth by authoring a 900-hour program
in Office Administration for the Arts.
Elevated formal student assessment by installing a point system that tracked student progress and
increased the types of assessment tools employed by the faculty.
Provided the forum for faculty discussion by creating the current academic governance model
employed by the Institute, as well as developing online forums that faculty could utilize from
anywhere in the world.
Initiated leadership roles for faculty and facilitated their on-boarding by establishing the role of
Curriculum Lead.
Provided students with experiential learning and extracurricular opportunities by initiating the
Institutes first Deans Corner which would provide recording credit to students who participated
in arranging, performing, recording and mixing.
Produced IARs first and second holiday albums, and a tribute album to the year 1969 utilizing
student, staff, and faculty as talent and engineers.

Taught classes to several hundred students in Audio Recording and Production, with a particular focus on
one-on-one exercises and comprehension of material.
Increased learning potential of students by re-writing the Audio Processing and Storage Lab class
for better alignment with its lecture.
Updated and maintained all lab manuals for the Audio program.
Authored new labs as needed, and prepared lab data for use. Supervised beta-testing for new
labs.
