Subject: THEY AUTHORIZED DRILLING TO 35,000 FEET and cannot shut off the well plus CRAZY MAN says they can weld at 5,000 Feet

Importance: High

Robin and others interested:

I just had some people on another site REALLY QUESTION how a former Navy man and Professional Welder plus Contractor
could EVER believe welding could be done at 5,000 feet depth in an ocean. Obviously even the BP officials and President
have not asked the NAVY DIVERS and OCEANEERING professionals how to make up a HYPERBARIC CHAMBER with special
GAS OVER the area with the CPP having pipe and shutoff valve COULD ALLOW WELDING AT that depth.

SAD THAT BP perhaps was told by their "Experts" the old man is senile and it is impossible when in fact the opposite is true
for welding that CPP section to the 21 inch riser PIPE when cleanly cut with a ROV CHOP SAW. Imagine they need to ask
the EXPERTS :

"In the case of Dry Welding, also known as Hyperbaric welding, it is carried out in a chamber sealed around the structure to
be welded. The chamber is filled with a gas, normally helium containing 0.5 bar oxygen. The chamber is fitted on to the
pipeline and filled with the breathable mixture of air described above and the pressure is maintained slightly above the
pressure at which welding is to take place. The gas tungsten arc welding process is used.

The advantages of dry welding are:

• Welding can be performed immune to ocean currents and marine animals.
• The welds are of a better quality when compared to the welds of wet welding as water does not quench the welds.
• Joint preparation and pipe alignment can be monitored visually from the surface.
The disadvantages of dry welding are:
• Large support equipment is required at the surface to support the chamber which by itself is very complex.
• The cost involved in dry welding is high and the cost increases with increase in depth where the welding is to be
carried out.
• The reusability of the chamber is very limited.

1
Risks and Precautions
Both the welder and the structures being welded are at risk when underwater welding is used. The welder has to be very
careful so as to avoid receiving an electric shock. For this, adequate precaution must be taken to insulate the welder and
limiting the voltage of welding sets. Secondly, pockets of hydrogen and oxygen are built up by the arc and are potentially
explosive. Lastly, the welder has to keep in mind that nitrogen is built up in the bloodstream when exposed to air at high
pressure under the water and hence must take adequate precaution.
For the structures that are being welded underwater, although inspection is very difficult when compared to surface
welding, it is a must. The weld must be inspected very carefully to confirm that no defects remain.

All welding precautions form a subset of underwater welding precautions. In addition, all safe arc-welding precautions must
be observed with particular attention being paid to using electricity underwater safely.”

ODD but the large ENCLOSURE OR HYPERBARIC CHAMBER WITH MODIFICATIONS on the bottom is perhaps 40 feet long, 40
feet wide and over 5 stories tall with a possibility of hooking up a pipe from the top of the CPP with pipe and shutoff with
FLANGE to the TOP section allowing NITROGEN GAS to be pumped inside then ROV WELDING in the HYPERBARIC CHAMBER
then CRANE CAN LIFT OFF THE CHAMBER and attachments of flanged riser flexible tubing would take the oil, gas and water
coming out of the well to the surface and at their LEISURE BP could shut down the well riser at the sea floor area using the
wheeled ball valve on the BOP OR they could use it.

Right now my concern is the WELL PRESSURE MAY PUSH ALL PIPING AND BOP TO THE SURFACE IF MOTHER NATURE OR
MOTHER EARTH BELCHES STRONG ENOUGH....BUT FIRST GET THE WELL LEAK SEALED THEN WELDED CPP CONNECTION
TO THE CUT PIPE USING THE CHAMBER AND GAS ALLOWING THE ROV TO DO THE WELD THEN CAPTURE THE OIL, GAS
AND WATER INTO BARGES AND LIVE A LONG LIFE PERHAPS WITH THE SPILL STOPPED.

Of course some may really be convinced the 600 feet depth for a live human welder undersea cannot be checked by such a
stupid idea that has never been proven....or has it by use of a chamber tent like item filling same with the proper gas and
oxygen mix ?

Worth a shot ? Still looking at forcing the unit into the 21 foot heavy wall pipe then with a special circular flange attached
tightening bolts to seal the item to the pipe much like the FLANGES I USE HERE IN TAMPA ON STEEL PIPE OR DUCTILE
IRON....THEY HOLD BUT WE ARE NOT TALKING ABILITY TO REALLY TURN THE BOLTS SO THE BOLT JABS THE STEEL BUT
THERE IS ALWAYS THREADING INTERNAL HOLES FOR THE BOLTS THEN REALLY CRANKING THEM DOWN FELLOW
PROFESSIONALS.....TRY THAT WITH THE CPP AND PIPE THEN EXPAND SOMETHING INSIDE THE PIPE TO HOLD IT IN PLACE
AND STOP LEAKS.......maybe the item is worth a SECOND VIEW IN A POOL folks. I think so ! What about YOU Mr. President
?

2
YOU COULD ALSO FORCE THE CPP INTO THE PIPE AND HAVE A COLLAR WITH BOLTS AND NUTS HOLD IT THEN DRILL
HOLES TAPPING SAME PULLING IT TIGHT BUT YOU MIGHT HAVE LEAKS !

Subject: Re: BP Drilled 35,000 feet !!?? Wayne Madsen:White H.CoversUp MenacingOil

At that depth drilling it is no wonder we have a MAJOR PROBLEM

How do we know if they did not fracture the earth at this depth and opened a crack in the floor that has created more of
horrible event yet to come.

You cannot simply drill or go into unknown without risks. Anyone knows
that you cannot play the odds that you know what the outcome is. I
think they figured they would get away with something but it backfired like all those in Washington they like to hide the
dirty tricks and then play dumb and blame.

3
I believe that they created a fracture in which we are yet to feel the outcome. How will they stop a vein a oil if this
where the oil is
coming from how can they tap something that is cracked and for how is
it. Just a thought.

What if they opened up something that could destroy the planet. would it spread like the ring of fire.

No one knows, Blame, stop this and fix it, Colin P said you break it you buy it. Well there may be no fix.
