GeneralPropertiesandApplication
1).Thetapesurfaceof8806and8801hasbeenspeciallytreatedtoensureseperationofthesynthetic
leatherfromthespliceinthesamewayasitseparatesfromthereleasepaper.Thisensurescontinuous
productionofsyntheticleather,withnodowntimethereisaproductioncostsaving.

2).Alltapesareeasytoapply.ApplicationwithourfreePlasticApplicator
isrecommendedforasecurebond,includingheavilyembossedpapers.Under
coldconditionsawarmironcanbemovedoverthesplicetoenhance
adhesion.FortheBackSpliceabrasionofthereleasepaperpriortoapplying
theBackSplicewillimproveadhesionfurther.

3).TheSplicingTapeswillwithstandthetemperatureconditionsencounteredintheproductionofsynthetic
leatherandwilllastthroughsixorsevenproductioncycles.TheSplicingTapeswillwithstandthe
temperatureconditionsencounteredintheproductionofsyntheticleatherandwilllastthroughsixorseven
productioncycles.Whatthismeansisthatthetapecangothroughtheproductionprocess67times,sowhen
thecastingpaperisreused,thetapecanalsobereusedtoo.
4).TheSplicingTapescanbestoredupto12monthspriortouse,buttheymustbestoredindryconditions
ataround22degCinsidetheoriginalpackaging.Protectionfromwater/humidity,extremetemperaturesand
directsunlightisnecessary.
5).NotethatPVCiscuredathighertemperaturesthanPU.Hightensionoccursinthecastingpaperif
productionpassesathighspeedwithhightemperature,alternativelynotifthispassesthroughatlower
speedsatlowertemperatures.Thetensioncouldalsobethewaythelinehasbeensetupwhichtheoperator
wouldknow.
