Students will work in groups to


create a visual representation
(Comic strip or video skit) of the
main ideas of their section and
present it to the class.
HOTQ: Can you determine and present the main points of your section (economics, politics,
religion/culture, social factors) and how they affected the era/country we are studying?
Students will use the app to learn
about different countries of an
assigned continent and compare
them to each other
HOTQ: What factors do you think make countries in the same continent different from one
another? Similar to Each other?

Students will use the app to create a


poster explaining an important
historical era/figure, geographic
location, economic principle, etc.
using only images and explain to
the class

Students will read a social studies


book from an approved list an post a
review on Goodreads. They will
then read and comment on 3 of their
peers reviews (at least 2 of whom
must have read a different book)
HOTQ: What are the main ideas/important facts from your book? From your peers reviews?

Students will answer the 3 review


questions on the teachers page and
create a question of their own. Once
all questions are submitted they will
answer 3 of their peers questions.
