Dear Parent,
This newsletter contains V sections. In the first section, the curriculum that we will follow during June & July is described. We have tried to explain all of
our educational activities in as much detail as possible, so that you know how your child is spending time here. This month your child will learn the
numbers 1,2,3,4 alphabets A,B,C,D , introduction of pattern writing, common rhymes, and a number of concepts. It will further reinforce your
childs learning if you could revise some of this material at home (for example, by singing the rhymes with him/her).
Section II contains a list of special activities, Section III contains the Art & Craft, Culmination themes& common rhymes that the children will learn this
month, Section IV contains the holidays for the month & Finally, Section V contains the Reminders for the month.
Four announcements are as follows:
1. The pictures of all the special days and events will be uploaded on Facebook www.facebook.com/kidzeearekerebranch
2. Please remember to follow all the instructions that we gave to you in the Dos and Donts document (Rules at Kidzee. Following the instructions
helps us in ensuring safety and hygiene, so please cooperate
3. All the worksheets and craft items will be sent only on Fridays or the last working day of the week. If your child is absent on one Friday, we will
send everything the following Friday.

As part of this
activity, children do some exercise, sing national anthem and Kidzee anthem.
Number skills: Children will learn the numbers 1,2,3,4 during the months.
Their learning will be reinforced through flash cards, beads, balls, sorting,
Language skills:
A,B,C,D.
Culmination Concepts: The concepts are illustrated through stories, rhymes (Kidzee curriculum has specific rhymes for each concept), charts,
puppets, and sample items. Since Tuesday is reserved for craft items, concepts are not covered on that day. The tentative daily calendar of the concepts
is given in the following table. Please note that some changes are possible in the calendar.
Science Time: A science time session is a great opportunity for children to understand the world around them. Real science begins with childhood
curiosity which leads to discovery and exploration. Simple experiments will help the child to engaging in finding out how the world works
Creative Time:
Most children love art activities. Creative time provides opportunities for children to be creative and to develop their own ideas
through a variety of media throughout the early years. Creative time will develop child Fine motor skills.
Reading Time: Books provide rich and imaginative world that can be a source of pleasure to the children. During Reading time teachers will narrate
the stories and ask the children to describe the scene from the story and probe the children to recall the story.
Through identification with the characters and the story line children will develop and practice own responses to events and experience situations and
feelings that are beyond their own life experiences.
Library time: Library session aims to develop an interest in reading. Children will build their vocabulary and improve their language skills.
Teacher will
help the children to choose book and encourage children to go through the books.
Sensory Time:
Sensory time gives the children exposure to various materials to simulate their senses. Various activities planned in the lessons will
give exposure to different senses each time.
Worksheet: As mentioned before, children are working on one worksheet every day.
Colours: Children will learn about Red, Blue & Yellow, colours this month.
Craftwork and Music & Movement: Tuesdays are reserved for making a craft item.
The planned craft items for this month are listed in the
following table. (The craft items will be sent on Fridays along with the worksheets.)
Every week, children learn and practice a new rhyme. The table also contains the names of four rhymes that the children will learn. In each week, in
addition to learning a new rhyme, rhymes learned earlier are also revised.
Free Play: In this activity, a variety of items are kept in four corners of the classrooms.
