Represents a Functional module i.e., grouping
of functionality within an offering. each Offering

implemented in order for the offering to be
operational..
Optional functional areas support processes or

Represents optional/alternative business methods/rules
applicable to an Offering functionality.
14
Tasks
Units of work needed to set up an Offering.
Users will perform them to manage setup data
They are typically associated with a program such as UI or web service
Task lists
Groupings of setup tasks that are performed together
Top Task List is associated with an Offering which must include ALL
tasks needed for its end-to-end setup requirements.
15
Configuring Offerings
16
Configuring Offerings
Configure Offerings in FSM is to select the Offerings, Functional Areas, Options and Features that are applicable
to their business requirements.
The configuration of the Offerings will determine how FSM generates list of setup tasks during implementation
phase.
While Offering Configuration CAN BE CHANGED any time, the changes wont have any influence on any of the
EXISTING IMPLEMENTATION TASK LISTS , but will be reflected in any new implementation task list generated after
making the configuration changes.
