Building/Classroom Rules:
1. Be SAFE
2. Be RESPECTFUL

3. Be RESPONSIBLE
Discipline Policy:
Campbell is a BIST school. The Behavior Intervention Support Team
provides us with a common language and consistent procedures for
students. The goal of BIST is to help students understand and learn
missing life skills. The logistics of BIST are as follows:
The Safe Seat is a seat that is safe from distractions. It is simply a seat
where they can be relieved of the distracting or upsetting situation. We
will give a warning or ask the student to redirect their attention and focus
before asking them to go to the Safe Seat.
Should the Safe Seat not be enough support for the student, We will send
them to a Buddy Room, a neighboring 5th grade classroom where the
student does not miss out on instruction but is distant from the situation
that led them to be sent to the Safe Seat. Parent contact will be made.
Should the student need further help beyond the Buddy Room, he/she will
be escorted to the office until they are able to be successful in the
classroom.

Here is a little bit more about your 5th grade teachers:

Emily Milana- Welcome! My name is Ms. Milana and this will be my first year
teaching. I come from a large family with many nieces and nephews so being
around and teaching children has always been a great joy for me. I received
my Bachelor's degree from Benedictine College in Atchison, Kansas and
student taught at Henry Leavenworth Elementary in Leavenworth, Kansas.
Over the summer, I worked at Le Quartier Bakery in Lincoln serving up
French breads and pastries. I also spent a bit of time on some of my favorite
hobbies: reading, crafting, browsing garage sales, cooking, and spending time
with family. I am thrilled to become a part of the Campbell family and begin a
career doing what I love. Here's to a great year of learning and growing!
Danielle HancockCole KohoutRussell MuellerThis will be my third year teaching at Campbell Elementary. I
grew up in Seward Nebraska, and attended high school and college in Lincoln
Nebraska. I have been married for just over 1 year, and have a giant
bloodhound named Merle. This past summer I have enjoyed taking minivacations to places like Madison Wisconsin, Taylor Nebraska, and in
September, Orlando Florida. In my free time, I love to play board games and
coach/teach swimming. I am very excited for the Husker football season to
beginning, as well as the new school year! GO BIG RED and GO COYOTES!
Jake Wolfe- Im from Lincoln, Nebraska. I graduated from the University of
Nebraska Lincoln in 2013. After graduating, I taught one semester of
6th grade at the Don Sherrill Education Center in Lincoln. Ive spent the last
two years teaching English in La Rioja, Spain. This will be my first year at
Campbell and my first year being a certified staff member with LPS. Before
coming back to the United States, my wife and I spent a few weeks traveling
around the Balkans in southeastern Europe. Other than that, Ive been
spending my summer getting ready for a new school year in a new place and am

year teaching 5th grade. I have taught 6th grade and 1st grade, four years and
three years respectively. My first eight years were with Omaha Public
Schools, and this will be my second year with Lincoln Public Schools. My
husband Brad and I have four children. Jessalyn will be a freshman. Trenton
and Ethan are in middle school. Alisyn is in 4th grade. This summer was filled
with swimming, baseball, and camps. We took a vacation to Gills Rock,
Wisconsin, at the end of June. We had a cabin and enjoyed fishing. My
