The statutory requirement of Indonesia Government about
electricity safety (K2) could refer to UU RI No. 30 Year of
2009
The purposes of applying the electricity safety rules as per UU
RI No. 30 year of 2009 is to meet the condition where;
- Reliable and safe for the installation and equipments
- Safe for the humans and other living creatures
- Safe for the environment
2. Who make the safety rules and how they make the safety
rules?
The safety rules are made by a committee of experienced
engineers and advisors. The committee shall study existing
safety rules and the statutory requirements, adopt those
found suitable, adapt and improve others, add new ones and
produce a good and workable set of safety rules for the
company and are kept under review, being modified and
improved to meet changing conditions.
3. What are the precautions that should be taken before working
on electrical High Voltage apparatus?
The precautions to be taken before working on electrical HV
apparatus as follows;
- The parts upon which the work is to be done must be dead
- Isolated and all practicable steps taken to lock off from all
live conductor
- Connected to earth at all point of disconnection of supply
- Screened where necessary to prevent danger, and caution,
and danger notice
- Released for work by the issue of an Electrical Permit to
Work
4. What is the purpose of Non Destructive Test? Mention 4 kinds
of Non Destructive Test and why the radiography test is often
to be used even present great hazard?
Non Destructive Test is necessary to be certain that materials
are free from concealed defect and the test shall not break the
material.

- Radiography Test

Ultrasonic Test
Magnetic test
Penetrant Test

The radiography test is often to be used even present great

hazard because has high degree accuracy and obtain
photographs of the parts under examination which shall reveal
the presence of any defect.
