PBC 6200 & SSC-02 Management

The system controller is called Control and Supervision Unit


(CSU).
The document describes the three alternative ways to access
the software based functionality in the system:
1. Web Interface, with an internet browser and the Ethernet
interface
2. Power Management Software (PMS) through the RS232 or
USB interface
3. Display, LCD and keypad Interface

Change IP through Web Interface

Click on Configuration in the drop down list under Settings menu and
click on IP Setting to change current IP address, Subnet Mask and
Gateway. The page, also show IP change logs.
If the new IP address is invalid, the system will recover to the latest
valid setting after 30 minutes.
The default values are:

IP address 192.168.1.1
Subnet Mask 255.255.255.0
Gateway IP address 0.0.0.0

The New IP for management will be

IP address (3G IP + 5)
(i.e. if 3G IP was 172.18.92.60 so PBC IP will be 172.18.92.65)
Subnet Mask (3G subnet mask)
(i.e. if 3G subnet mask was 255.255.255.248 so PBC subnet mask will be
255.255.255.248)
Gateway IP address (3G IP address)
(i.e. 172.18.92.60)

Insert IP and Subnet mask with Gateway then Click on Submit icon
to make changes . System will Ask for User name and password

Username: admin (case sensitive)

Password Levels
PMS has two permission levels of system operation,
setting and monitoring to suit each level of user.
Function of each level:
USER LEVEL: Monitoring of all system parameters, all
Alarms and the Event log.
SADMIN LEVEL: User level permission plus parameter
setting Time setting Secondary language, Translation,
Installation Notes, EEPROM Download & Upload and
Relay & LED Configuration.

Display (LCD)

System information shows system current setting and pervious


events.
System setting lets user change setting of the system
(Password needed, Default: 0000).
Current Alarms shows system current alarms.
Note:
If the password is changed the customer must take the
responsibility of safeguarding and remembering this password.
Failure of remembering the password will call for a physical
CSU board replacement to safeguard the system from
unauthorized system access.

Then enter IP Address , Subnet mask and Gateway

All the above will be done using UP and DOWN arrows


and ENTER on the LCD Display
