GeneralDescription:TheKnowledgeManagementOfficerhasresponsibilityfor

effectiveimplementationofprogramsandactivitiesthatarepartoftheUnitsKMstrategy.The
KnowledgeManagementOfficerdevelopsandsupportscommunitiesofpracticeandnetworks
withpeers.TheKnowledgeManagementOfficerassessesknowledgemanagementneeds,
developsstrategiestomeetthoseneeds,identifiesandobtainsrequiredresourcesandensures
accessbythestaffandmanagementofthe(Sector/Unit)andinternalandexternalclients.The
KnowledgeManagementOfficerkeepsinformedaboutknowledgemanagementpractices
throughouttheWorldBankGroupandmanagesoutreachprogramstoinformUnitstaffand
externalclientsofKMresourcesandsystems.TheKnowledgeManagementOfficermaydirect
staffandoverseeconsultantsinexecutingspecifictasksinhis/herareasofresponsibility.
