Dear Students / Scholars,

Sub: Fees Circular for Jul Nov 2016 Semester reg.
Following are the fees structure for Jul-Nov 2016 semester. The students/scholars are
required to pay as noted against their fees category as per schedule given in Annexure-I

From Jul-Nov 2016 semester onwards, all the students / scholars (including
HTTA/HTRA students / scholars) have to pay their semester fees directly
through online. If the first instalment of fees has already been deducted from
your HTTA/HTRA, please pay the remaining amount in one instalment
through online.

All SC/ST and PwD students/scholars are exempted from payment of Tuition
fees irrespective of their parental income

Last date for payment of fees 26.07.2016 (Tuesday)

Late fee of Rs.250/- has to be paid for payment from 27.07.2016 to 04.08.2016.

Dual degree students have to pay B.Tech. fees for first 8 semesters and
M.Tech fees for 9th and 10th semesters

The procedure for fee payment for Jul-Nov 2016 semester is enumerated below for
guidance:
Click the link Academic Fee Payment Portal at https://www.iitm.ac.in/academics to
pay the INSTITUTE fee.
1. Once you enter the roll number, verify the Name and Date of Birth displayed on
screen.
2. Please check the Fee structure PDF file and enter the appropriate amount for Tuition
fees, Other fees and Hostel establishment A charges.
3. You will see a message on screen confirming successful payment. You can also confirm
the payment if you are on campus through https://workflow.iitm.ac.in/student, by
following the 'PaymentHistory' link. (The new finance transaction portal is similar to
what you use for irctc)
Note: If the transaction fails and money is deducted from your account, then please wait 3
to 5 working days for money to be credited back to your account. If the money is not credited
automatically, then contact accounts section at accounts@iitm.ac.in with your Roll number,
Name and Transaction ID.

Hostellers Hostel Fees

In addition all students staying in the Hostel have to pay following hostel fees to
Hostel Management Account through the website https://ccw.iitm.ac.in/ and
https://dost.iitm.ac.in/ using any bank Debit Card / Credit Card / Net Banking.
