Introduction
The English Department is committed to strengthening our students English ability and arousing their

interest in the language. Our English lessons are fun and interactive by means of pair work, group discussion
and other learning activities. Outside the classroom, various extra-curricular activities are organized to create
an English learning environment especially in terms of speaking. Our activities include the weekly English
Speaking Day, inter-class competitions such as drama, stall games at special festivals like Halloween and in
the annual English Week, and English Assembly.

There are twelve English teachers in 2010-11 including our NET teacher. All our teachers are qualified

and experienced.
