A Day Full of Fluid Mechanics

You woke up in the morning and the room is
comfortably warm. Free convection driven by
the hot radiator heat up the room all night.

You washed your face at the sink. The water

first passed through a flowmeter outside
your house and traveled inside the piping
system before coming to the faucet.

You have a 9:40 class, but you felt achy. You
tought of visiting the health center, maybe all
you need is a pain reliever, but who knows...

You had your breakfast. The coolant moving
inside the small pipes at the back of your
refrigerator, and the air circulating inside it are
both fluids.

You decided to do some cleaning before

heading to the school. Proper suction of air
and filtering the dust requires the knowledge
of fluid mechanics.

military/defense applications.
