CII surface coating exhibition was the one of the best exhibition in recent times. It was small, compact but attracted all relative
customers and special expert level surface coating personalities. I wish more such kind of event in near future. Above all, thanks

The Surface & Coating show was very well organized and this was abundantly clear from the attendance at the Conference and
the Training sessions. The entire event was well organized and went off very smoothly. The venue selection was excellent. We
hope that this will be a regular event in the future.
We are really happy with the way how the conference & exhibition organized by CII. Also we could bag reasonable amount of
visitors (existing & potential customers) to our stall. We are also impressed with the New product launch concept by CII during
the exhibition. We are sure that our contribution for this event will be continued in the upcoming years as well.

Mr Ravi Sam, Chairman, CII TN State Council & MD, Adwaith Textiles Ltd
Mr Ravi Sam, observed that India is emerging as a major manufacturing hub for
various industrial products, owing to the availability of large qualified workforce,
massive emerging markets, and low cost of production. The market for pumps and
valves is expected to grow at 14-17% CAGR over the next five years. While Indian
industry has been experiencing a slowdown, the valve industry in the country has
been growing exponentially at over 20% in the last decade with growth in exports
being even higher at 100% in the last three years, he added.

The address by Dr U. Kamachi Mudali, was about the importance of materials with a
good finish and value-added coating, for enhanced performance. Citing from
history the many examples of Indian expertise in materials technology, such as the
Iron Pillar and the Chozha bronzes, he shared with the audience an engineering
marvel that an Indian company developed on coating, which would work for 40
years in liquid sodium, at 550 degrees in a highly radioactive environment. This is
the time to devote attention to the development of human resources, Dr Mudali said.
