We cannot divorce the message of Jesus from the methods of Jesus and expect the

results of Jesus. The methods of Jesus are just as divine and the message of Jesus.
Jesus Christ says I am the WAY John 14:6
He is the way to marry a woman, run a business, build a family, run a nation yes grow /
run the church.

He said learn of me that means be my apprentice. Observe how I do things

and do things that way too. Matthew 11:29
Peter said he left us an example to follow 1 Peter 2:21
Be imitators of me as I am of Christ - Ephesians 5:1; I Cor. 11:1

So clearly if we want to get the result that Christ got we should do life and
ministry the way He did it.
So let me share with you some of the methods I have observed that Jesus used and how I
have begun to implement it and what I have seen as the result.
1. He Made Love / Relationship The Motivation For Action Everything he did and
everything he wanted people to do, he wanted it to be done from a place of love.
Jesus primary message was that LOVE not LAW should be the ultimate motivation
for EVERYTHING we did.
2. He came to reveal the Father prior to Jesus, NO ONE had ever brought about the
revelation of God as FATHER but Jesus came and did that. There is ONLY one time he
called God - God and that was when he was carrying the sin of the whole world.
Every other time he called him Father do we want to see the result Jesus had - we
must focus also on showing God as Father. We could either make our message the
preaching of what we must do for God - or the message of what our Father has done
for His children
3. He came to announce the kingdom the gospel he preached was the news that
the kingdom of God has come to men - not the instruction of how men can enter into
the kingdom. Jesus message was because the kingdom of heaven is now available
change your mind - so that you can enjoy and participate in the benefits of that
kingdom. What we preach today sounds like Gods kingdom is separated from man
because of mans sin now leave you sin so that you will be found worthy to enter
this kingdom
4. Demonstrated power In announcing that kingdom he then had to demonstrate
indeed that this kingdom has indeed come - hence he had to administered the rule of
the kingdom in lives healed the sick, raise the dead etc all of these is how he
announced the kingdom. That is why the gospel without demonstration of power is
not good news.
5. He took the message into their households or oikos he incarnated in their
midst. He dwelt among them. He lived with them. He did church in the midst of their
day to day lives. He brought the good news to people in the midst of their existence.
He was incarnational. This is why we must be incarnational - the church is not this
building - it is the mustard seeds sown in offices, in businesses, in homes where

people gather together and live with people of their ilk and kin and network and
manifest Jesus.
