introducing the new OPTYMATM Control, the OPTYMA series from Danfoss offer a complete
and easy to install cooling solution for cold rooms.
The OPTYMATM Control is a new control panel for cold rooms, specially designed to provide the
user with control, safety, protection and ease of installation in one single unit. It allows the user to
control all the components of the refrigeration system: compressor, condenser and evaporator fans,
defrosting heaters, solenoid valves and room lights.
Particularly suitable for the OPTYMATM and OPTYMA PLUSTM condensing units from Danfoss,
but also compatible with other condensing units on the market, the new OPTYMATM Control
enables complete management of static or ventilated single phase systems and 3 phase systems with
compressors up to 5,5 kW (7,5 HP).
A built-in differential magnetothermic protection and an adjustable circuitbreaker for the
compressor accessible from the front of the panel, guarantees safety by cutting the general power
supply, ensuring complete electrical protection of the cold room.
With a very attractive design, the OPTYMATM Control is available for complete management with
one version for single-phase refrigeration systems and 4 versions for three-phase refrigeration
systems.

Simple and quick installation

The easy mounting with a hinged cover and the simple wiring connections of the OPTYMATM
Control, as well as the integration of control and protection functions in one single room dedicated
unit minimizes installation time and reduces labour costs.

Safe and easy to use

The magneto-thermal cut-out switch, which is accessible from the transparent cover at the front of
the smartly designed ABS box, guarantee isolation and electrical protection of the cold room.

Furthermore an adjustable circuit-breaker available in the 3-phase versions, also accessible from the
front ensures protection of the compressor, and all with an IP65 protection.

The general design of the OPTYMATM Control with LED indicators and large display to illustrate
the system status as well as a user-friendly key pad, has been made with simplicity and functionality
for the user in mind, and setting of the different operating parameters couldnt be easier!
